Hey, i have a question. Does being on a london location mean only when the top card is a location care or everytime until we move to some other location (means are we going to consider ourselves to be on baker street even after performing an action or information card qfter that?). Want to know this for the rule for mycroft. Can we only play him over a green london location card or we check the last green card, even if we bave played more cards on top of it?

My family have a copy of the 1940s version. My dad who was a captain in the royal artillery and I used to play it. It is very good game and it is good game for girls too

The original 1974 game had a superb production quality but this is a significant enhancement of that!!

I remember this fondly from my younger days, but the original had one flaw .. you could put your controlled Royal on a boat and leave him out at sea. The expansion kit removed this by the addition of a "Violent storms at sea, all ships sunk" card. Favourite memory is of starting a game early one NY Eve and the hostess losing everything due to a plague in York, at which time she went to bed. The following morning, about 9 hours after she went to bed, she came downstairs to see us all still around the board. Having ascertained that it was still the same game and we had indeed been there all night, her matter-of-fact response was "I expect you'll want some toast then"

My heart is broken that I didn't even hear about this Kickstarter. My older brother wouldn't let me play it with his friends back in the 80s and now I'd love to own a copy. Dying for the retail release of this game.

Hi, I have a question. If you play the hanson card and the players are at the country, should they only play the Country card only or can it be a different location?

I love the process of solving puzzles, but unfortunately I don't get much satisfaction from finishing the work. I'm not interested in putting in the last pieces, or even sad that the game is over.

Great explanation of the rules well done

My buddy Bob Bledsaw made many variants for the game with new cards and rules. We had a lot of fun with it. It was a good game when getting a bunch of people together because even someone was late, they just start when they get there and no worry about having a quorom of players.

Ditto from my last comments and SOLO MODE... what a package this will be, an absolute must so come on folks pledge, pledge and pledge. Even though the instructions where a bit iffy with the Arial version me and my cousin played the game for hours and days on end and enjoyed every second of the game!

Great to see that Gibsons are bringing out a new edition of this classic game from the 1970s - which was a Gibson's game originally I believe? This is the game I first played as an absolutely raucous and chaotic 8 player game aged 12 that turned me in a lifelong boardgamer. I'm pleased that Gibsons allowed the new designer/developer to take the necessary time to improve this game with the more the 40 years of gameplay behind it, and taking into account modern advances in boardgame design and production, and the contributions from keen fans. The original has stood for more than 40 years, may the new edition stand for at least 40 more :-)

Hello, I have some questions: 1. When I run out of cards, and make an arrest. If the player does not hold a Villain card, should I add all the accused player´s cards to my hand? or is it like playing Holmes? 2. What happens when the drawing pile runs out of cards? 3. On my turn, if I can play a card, can I choose to draw anyway?

Hello - not a good enough explanation. I have this game, and you haven't explained the difference between the tiles with the Bee symbol on the perimeter, and the Bee symbol in the centre, or the other symbols on the tiles like X2, and the reverse symbol. I cannot find the explanation for the Bee in the centre anywhere. We use this tile to be a completely "wild" tile and can be put anywhere, especially in a space that is enclosed on all sides. PLEASE try to add more explanation about these additional tiles & rules!
