The purpose of my channel is to guide those who want to make their own music. Whether you're starting from scratch or already have some experience, this channel will help you develop technical proficiency in creating digital music, improve your songwriting and composition skills, and learn to navigate being an artist in the modern world.
I Remade Eli Brown's Track and Discovered THIS!
I went ahead and remade Eli Brown's "Be The One" to show you just how little you can make a banger with. Is it perfect? Absolutely not. But that isn't the point. Using references in this way can kickstart your ability to create music quickly and without fussing over the little details so much. Also, unless you're listening on headphones or with a sub you may not be able to hear the part where I am referencing the low end with the autofilter.

This was very easy to follow and kick started my song that I have been trying to make. Thank you!
🔥🔥
music theory and video games. the two best ways to catch my attention 😂🤘
Video games are the reason I spent my whole life learning music. Sonic, Mario, Mega Man, Halo and about a thousand others. They stick with you.
@ i love the loop of people growing up on n64 and then later getting into 70s japanese jazz fusion, and then realizing that’s a part of the inspiration for the games music so of course they love it
What track from SM64 is this?
Piranha Plant Lullaby th-cam.com/video/yDq7LybC18g/w-d-xo.htmlsi=k3onXtRpgpg0Vpfs
Thank you! And great informative video!
AI voice ruins the whole video.
I'll be phasing that out in time. The last video I did with my own voice someone just said they hated my voice lol
It probably just got them all bricked up@@MusicWithMike
The four chords 😭😭😭
Enough to make you shed a tear 😭
@@MusicWithMike I-VI-IV-V is one of the most overused chord progressions ever (After I-V-VI-IV) since songs like Heart and Soul and Blue Moon used it, I'd recommend trying some unique chord progressions that aren't so cookie cutter. (I hope I don't sound rude ngl.)
@@isciab I plan on doing more.
Pretty accurate
Shits straight fire where's the full version
Work in progress. I'll put it out when it's done.
Call me a sheep cuz this shits a baaa baa banger
Fucckkk. Good shit man
Monkee
Wtf did I just listen to? 💀
Hopefully a song that will one day make it's way off my computer lol
Shits fire 🔥
Thank you!
That’s cool
Thank you!
Nice work Mike.
Thank you!
Nice idea for a vid! How I can tell if my track's got a groove, is if it makes me wanna dance.
💯 If it grooves, show off the moves 😎
@@MusicWithMike feel the bass in your face
Always great content!
Thanks man! Glad you enjoyed 😊
Awesome content!! Very insightful for a beginner such as myself.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Great information and mindset adjustment for beginners! Will def be looking forward to more videos !
Thank you and I'm glad you enjoyed it!
Thanks for the info ❤❤
You're welcome!
I like ... I think *everything* you say. Definitely on the same page, lots of it applies to what I've noticed (my own progress, and others' progress) ........ BUT if I can comment on something regarding the *presentation* here: The background music. After just over 2 minutes, I was about to stop the video, then my mouse movement reveals that the length was only a few more minutes, total. So I'm like "Okay, I'll survive that" ... though the music is distracting from your words. I'm here for what you actually *say* . To me, that's the content. I really like the content, thank you. But the added background music is ... annoying, seems completely unnecessary. It's battling your voice for bandwidth. It subtracts from your content. And almost made me stop the video.
Definitely appreciate the feedback. I'm still fine-tuning my creation process for videos. I feel sometimes without the background music it feels empty but with it it can clash. Tried scooping music mids with an EQ. Maybe I'll try the next without the background music.
Another tip I may add is time management! Learn to set blocks for all the tasks you have to do and especially for working on music. Learn to walk away and take a break.
Yes! Time management is essential. Both macro level by alloting time in the day for studio time and also at the micro level. Setting time limits on certain tasks. Otherwise you can fall into the black hole of endless and unnecessary tweaking haha.
Great tips!! Some of them were great reminders for me, thank you for sharing!
That was very interesting and understandable! I am not familiar with some of the terms of your profession, but you gave clear explanations and audio examples that helped me understand. Thanks!
Thanks Gerry 😊
Congrats on the First video!! ❤
Thank you my man!
