Vance and Hines Pro Pipe Black for Milwaukee 8 Softail
For my TH-cam debut, I decided to do a review of the install, performance, and overall satisfaction of the Vance and Hines Pro Pipe Black that I installed on my 2019 Heritage Classic Softail 114.

Memorial day 2019: For the families of those who gave the ultimate sacrifice, my heart goes out to you all on this day of remembrance. If it wasn't for their sacrifice, I wouldn't even be able to do half the things I do each day, let alone make TH-cam videos. Their sacrifice does not go unnoticed.

would you buy the pro pipe again?
Hello from a french biker, and thanks for your nice video, I ride a 2019 Softail Heritage 107ci with "Neighbor Haters" slips on and stage 1 with the FP3, and I can't stand no more the sound resonance in my Helmet, so I am looking for the Propipe wich seems to be quieter and have the exit more at the back of the motorcycle under the saddlebag, do you think it's a good option for me with the quiet baffle ? I am really looking for better sound than stock but not loud...
Nice….I want this setup on my 18 Heritage. Did you have to replace the oxygen sensors?
No, you can use the stock ones with the fittings they include. FP3 did a decent job getting it tuned correctly
Does this exhaust have the quiet baffle?
In this video it does not. Microphone did a terrible job with the volume of this pipe. Later on I added the quiet baffle and it was much more manageable on long trips.
Do you know what the decibels were with the stock baffles on the pro pipe, and now the quiet baffles?
I wish I had actual measurements, but in the video, with the helmet, no baffles, ear plugs, it was manageable for maybe 1hr. With the quiet baffle, helmet, ear plugs, I could ride all day.
@@harleyheritageclassic3030 thanks for the response. I really don’t want to ride with ear plugs 🤦♂️
I thought you were going to let us here the pipes?SHITTY VIDEO
Hi there mate im getting a 2020 ..Heritage they are just slip on and ride away ..not need no tuning ye? I Just want to stay stock but with noise ..cheers from Eug mate
Thanks for the video, regards from Santiago of Chile
I was considering these but they seem really quiet!
Chris Correll yeah, I should have put more sound samples. They are about a medium in terms of loud, so if you are looking to get noticed, probably not the right ones, or the baffle needs to be changed.
HarleyHeritageClassic I want loud but not so loud that the fuzz hassle me ;)
Love the V&H pro pipe, I live in socialist California, so they are not allowed here, so have to have sent to a friend in AZ. And I either go for a visit or have him mail it too me. Nice ride! Enjoy your freedom, while you still have it!
Roger Bohman holy moly, they don’t even ship them there?
@@harleyheritageclassic3030 no they wont ship them into cali, I've tried a bunch of the normal motorcycle stores, and they are not allowed. Cant get most pipes, or breathers. S&S came out with a cali legal pipe, and so has TAB now, but unless your company wants to pay a bribe to CARB, your exempt from selling your product in California.
Are they loud at cruising speed and loud once it warms up?
They definitely get loud. I’ve since switched to the quiet baffle to reduce the booming sound in my helmet.
Ok I have 2018 Heritage 114 in priemer red opps i mean denim red . On 10/13 /19 my warranty expires so I am thinking of doing vance and hine tuner stealth 2 in to 1 pipe and 468 redshift cam but now you got me thinking about these Pro Pipe Black exhaust now I am really digging those lol nice video man .
Congrats! I’m thinking of the same cam and maybe doing S&S oil pump and cam plate as well.
@@harleyheritageclassic3030 Oh man if you do hope you can do a video on that set up. I was interested in the S&S oil pump and cam plate as well . According to Moonshine Harley guys it is the way to go for added reliability. I was also thinking about the Dean Speed Titus bars 14 inch then adding the 300watt kuryakyn mtx sound bar.
In person, are these really deep??
Half Dog yes they are. Very deep. Almost like sitting on thunder on cold start.

Wow, that sounds good. Great first video and vlog. I look forward to seeing more of your videos. Liked and subbed!
JP1970 thanks!
Wow, man, really nice production quality for your first video! Usually takes people a while to get the hang of the editing and production of their vlogs. Not bad, man! Also, nice Heritage. I have a Street Bob, myself.
Thanks! I’ve been toying with the idea of getting a Street bob to do a crazy build of some sort, keeping my Heritage as a commuter/tourer
I can’t hear the pipes
What state are you in I love the pro pipe !! Best sounding and power
Dre Escamilla sound clip is near the beginning of the video, but I may try to make another sound clip. I’m in North Carolina. Thanks for watching!
