The National Centre for Sports Cardiology (NCSC) is a centre of excellence that specialises in an athlete’s most important tool - their heart. This joint initiative between the Baker Institute, St Vincent’s Hospital, and St Vincent’s Institute combines research and medical expertise to provide the best medical care and advice for athletes.

my LAD was blocked for 9 months before they checked with an angiogram. i have a 1 and 3 year old. i had the stent 3 months ago at warringal/austin

Very thorough and thoughtful discussion. Although I do not have atrial heart issues I do have an enlarged LV from my life time of competitive cycling. Do you have any concerns about heart enlargement in athletes?
