มุมมอง 8414 วันที่ผ่านมา
Sometimes its easier to make a custom tension tool when dealing with a keyway that non of your tensions have a good fit in. Creating a custom tool is also a LPU Brown Belt requirement. So here is a quick video of my making a new tensioner to fit my Assa 700.

What are yall doing in Brussels?
@knowthebird enjoying the christmas markets. Using it as a base to travel from... Paris France yesterday and Cologne Germany tomorrow then spend the rest of the week with some friends who moved here.
@royboivin sounds fun!
Awesome team, Merry Christmas my friends
U are a great talent ❤And ur dad is amazing 🎉😊 all the best and all my love to you amd yabbo for Christmas 🎄 ❤️ 💙 😊
Merry Christmas bud. Enjoy and travel safe.
Merry Christmas Roy & Lockpicking Grandson. - enjoy Belgium & I shall probably be joining the live at some point depending upon how long your live. -Godspeed Edited for autocorrect error
That’s a very small and cute container lock
Oh man, thats cool!!!
I don't know if any has ever picked a lock on the Eiffel Tower. 🔥🐔🎄
Wait until tomorrow. Got something else planned.
Nice work
Ooooh snap! He's throwing down guys!
The legendary 605... Oh boy... I'm surprised that these are still manufactured honestly
Just saw this video man I'm really glad you like it I'm having a lot of fun watching everyone's videos
The way that tool was designed is just so fascinating!
I know its like magic still when i use it.
I'mma want that
Interesting tool
How does this work? what's going on inside the lock with this tool?
th-cam.com/users/shortsuJJ53VprKl8 this is a cutaway video of the wafer being picked. Essentially the vibration as you pull out allows the wafer to set to the correct height as your turning tension on the lock.
@@royboivin Thanks! it's like watching a magic trick :)
Cool tool! I’m making an order through SS today!!
I enjoy your videos and appreciate that you publish them frequently. A suggestion is please give us more commentary as you pick. Maybe like LPL or Lock Noob? I’m new to locksport and these videos are tutorials for me. I realize that you are doing this one and others to qualify for belts and if it breaks your concentration then please disregard. Thanks again!
Thanks for the feedback. I wasnt planning on posting this but decided to after the fact to show how im trying to identify whats holding me up. Ill be sure to keep this in mind even when im not planning on posting the video. Unfortunately i have been trying to pick this lock for a month and record for an hour+ each time i try and pick it.
nicely done Yabbo! I'm getting Ruko 700s pretty soon. Man, I'm not sure what to expect from those locks :D
Good luck!
Nice progress
Nice! Very useful, man!
I remember seeing a blacksmith heat a thin piece of metal to glowing hot by hammering it on an anvil and rotating it 90 degrees every other hit. He then used the hot metal to start the fire in his forge.
None of this video meets OSHA requirements. lol. Nice work. Braver than me.
Was a bit concerned about your left hand for a couple seconds there. Then gotca closer look at the 'lightsaber torch' & "ah, it'll be fine... thankfully no "boom" lol. - I mostly jest, that was quick for metal reformation even with pianowire. - nicely done
Thanks Yabbo!
Nice tutorial
Good info thanks for sharing.
This is cool.
A1 homie ❤Good luck I'm the drawing 😊🎉😎✨️
Great video man lol
That was fan-freakin-tastic!!! 🤣😆🤣
love the creativity!
@@Conqui121 thanks.
A great idea for a short...especially if you didn't know you had a catchphrase! ( I mean, we know junkie with "slayed" could be a fun compilation as well!)
@jeffandthings77 lol I didn't know until I started putting the clips together.
Too funny! Good job! 😄
You need to write a locksport medical drama series...
@@TheLockDudeAbides that would be funny.
@@royboivinI would watch it
Love it
Going for brownie points with all that medical mumbo jumbo I see. Well played sir. 😂
It just popped into my head when I hit record. Added the effects after. But I'll take all the advantage I can get
@royboivin 😆👌
🤣🤣
This might be the greatest thing I’ve ever seen 🤣 Well done. That was some high quality resuscitation!
nice job, man
I just ordered this lock. Locks like a tough one!
@HumboldtPicker707 if you have never picked a dimple it will give you problems.
@ I’ve only picked the multi lock 7x7… Can’t open my interactive.
@ Would I need a curved flag? I have 3-5-7-10 from multipick.
@@HumboldtPicker707 they help.
Did a good job picking! How much do you practice daily?
@dascue777 not every day anymore. Usually an hour a day when I'm really working on it. Multiple hours a day if I'm focused on a lock I haven't opened. I'm slow on working on my assa 700 maybe 3 hours a week
Where did you buy the lock? Grub screw
@@dascue777 i borrowed it from @Sandman
Great job! Interesting how you hold the pick
@@dascue777 thanks. I get that alot
If you submitted picking that stick to the first shear line and requested white, you’d get it. So congrats on making the #BlueWhaleLocksportChallenge !!! And you did it in less than 10 minutes so it’s a gold star qualifier too. Nice work.
Love having Yabbo in the mix!! Nic rocks .
Great job though! Good work
The basic and intermediate combination is a great set!!! I am looking forward to the .015 sounds like this Friday 6pm MTN time!
Very nicely done
There are circlip pliars that are designed for re bending the brass circlip correctly in place easily, I have 2 versions of circlip pliars, 1 of them is made by Souber Tools in United kingdom, but don't know who manufactures the other pair I own. The sparrows Gut Wrench is also a good tool for removing circlips, also designed in United kingdom by LockNoob for sparrows. The pliars you used to remove the circlip are usually called circlip pliars but there are 2 versions, 1 type that opens outwards when you squeeze the handles together, the other type opens inwards when you squeeze the handles together.
Thanks for the information. I went out and bought a pair of my own from a local hardware store here in the states. Already had the gutting tool from locknoob
