I think if you're too busy to be unhappy that involves you needing speed. Because there's always something you can or need to do. I think that's the message but I could be wrong.

I think he's not trying to explain how a plane works. However, that a plane needs to go at a certain speed to fly. In which the concept is transferable with success. And you can be so successful that you don't have time to be un happy.
