Kit parades are always fun! Especially because we have similar taste in a lot of projects. I finally started my Queen of Silk not long ago. Seeing yours inspires me to keep going on mine! I’m a top left starter, so I’m still in the cherry tree for now.

Do t worry about talking next time. Just focus on your stitches.just tell what your next step is going to be. Babies wake up when they want to. Nights are always “iffy” w/ babies and small children. Are you going to have another baby? Who will this blanket be for?

You are doing just like I’ve done. My stitches don’t touch each other, because I didn’t like that. After I was completed w/. The quilt, I put it together with more filling and new cloth for the backing so my stitches on the back don’t show.Then tie it and bind it when I’m done. It’s fun to do and makes a soft fluffy quilt. How do you finish your blankets off? I’d really like to know.

I so very much enjoyed your kit parade. I saw a couple that I have never seen. They are all just beautiful. All my prodjects I usually have a spot I mess up and I have been stitching for 30 years. It makes our prodjects unique.🥰🥰🥰

Your blanket looks great! I’ve never stitched anything that will go in the washer, do you just wash it on gentle? I don’t like super soft Aida either, i prefer the kind that is a bit sturdy for stitching in hand.

It was so good to see your video this morning. I love The Needleberry Stitcher, she just put up another video the other day and as always it was so great. You can tell if it’s an Aida by how it’s woven. Aida has four strands in each square as opposed to single woven even weave fabric like linen or lugana, etc. Also, boys aren’t slower-all children are different. I raised two boys and they were equal to or ahead of all of their girl cousins. Each kid developed differently and reached different milestones at different times. We get so involved in these things and within a short time (unless there’s an actual problem) no one remembers or cares. 😂 Glad he’s such a blessing to you!❤
