Mini Horizontal Directional Drilling - How it Works
มุมมอง 18K8 ปีที่แล้ว
Trenchless Solutions offer this steered technique of mini horizontal directional drilling (Mini HDD) for underground pipelines installations, sizes range from 25mmØ to 180mmØ distances up to 100m, this type of equipment uses a smaller footprint than conventional HDD rigs and is launched from either a small pit or the surface drilling through various ground types. This trenchless method is ideal...

Auger Boring (Unguided) How it works
มุมมอง 351K13 ปีที่แล้ว
Auger boring is a non-steered method used to install pipes from 150mmØ to 1,000mmØ. During installation the pipe fully supports the ground while the cut spoil is conveyed by continuous flight auger back to the work pit. Steel carrier casings and PE ducts can be installed under waterways, roads, railways, existing structures, congested areas and environmentally sensitive areas.

How to buy this
So you need enough 90mm drill rods to extend the entire length of the trench, right? Do you pull those rods through before boring from the other direction, or do you push them back through? I know these questions are really basic. Thanks.
Parabéns
looks familiar, but it is not HDD (horizontal direction drill)
What if I am only looking to drill 30-40 feet to connect an existing water main and tap to the house and run a new copper water line?

There are people in this world like myself who has an air compressor that supports other plant functions. This would be very useful to our operation and I will buy one as soon as I find one to order
bueno pero no dices cuales son los costos de energia para bombear una altura requerida, el compresor tiene un consumo dado, pero la altura de bombeo , debes de dar una tabala para diferentes diametros y rangos de presion

Pulling had to be temporarily stopped due to rig breakdown. Exit side( pipe side) is bank of pond and now it is raining heavily at the site. Water level increased up to hole level. Since rig side level is lower than pipe side level, water is flowing through hole from pond to rig side. Can you suggest any technique to temporarily plug the hole to prevent water seepage from pipe side to rig side.

Recently, I had a sewer man tell me the new pipe is less in diameter than the old one. That you were basically 'relining' the old pipe. True or not? (btw: He said he did NOT use pipe bursting.)
That’s different, they clean the pipe then use a polymer tube to line the pipe.
lots of problems using pipe bursting relining existing pipe so much easier.
Good

Just build one.it can have the head made out of metal and the rest of plastic hose.It also needs somme extra weight not to lift itself up.And it needs about minimum 5 m of water to worck. If the water is wery deep, like 25 m you can make one of metal and use it with a krane.Good luck.
@@emivultur1238⚠️ God has said in the Quran: 🔵 { O mankind, worship your Lord, who created you and those before you, that you may become righteous - ( 2:21 ) 🔴 [He] who made for you the earth a bed [spread out] and the sky a ceiling and sent down from the sky, rain and brought forth thereby fruits as provision for you. Whenever they are provided with a provision of fruit therefrom, they will say, "This is what we were provided with before." And it is given to them in likeness. That all good, but it doesn't show how you connect new to the house
Why would it?
As a plumber my problem with this technique is ....the Brand New pipe is being dragged thru ALL the broken shards of the old pipe ? I am a plumber and have done this work . ✌️
I thought about that too. Maybe the shards are compressed against the dirt enough were it will not cause any damage.
It looks to me like the cone shaped thingy that breaks the old pipe was a larger outside diameter than the new pipe, so it clears the way for it? 🤔
It is not a problem used on cast. Pulling in poly for gas and water mains. All tested
Every install method comes with it's own set of problems. If you open cut and pavement is involved then you deal with patches and failing joints with the possibility of no mill and overlay ever performed.
Does it allow for the diameter to be upgraded as well?
Yep upgrading pipe diameter quite normal.
This video is just terrific; it makes this technology perfectly clear.
nice vedio....thanks
Okay thanks
