You rescue the Pukei-Pukei earlier in the quest, then he shows up to help you with the final part of the Leshen fight. IIRC, pukei-pukei is getting strangled by some vines and you free him with your fire or something similar, which starts the sub quest.

I wanted to prove those "low levels" joining you in hard mode are not necessarily weak, aka "levels aren't everything." I saw people complaining about a level 13 joining them in a mission, when my 'level 1' character was already stronger than their level 40 character because of all those catalysts.

That's sad, as a lvl 1 ajax I still survive 10x longer then my buddies. My dps is based on weapon so that doesn't change regardless of my lvl of which my weapon is at 615k

Yes, that was the point. That seeing someone with a low level online doesn't necessarily meant that they are weak or leeching.

​@noxland you don't do less damage. Unless you have a module that boosts damage specific to your health/def/shield. You otherwise do exactly the same damage as your skills don't reset or do your weapons.

At lvl 1 my Ajax still has 15k health and 20k def, his dps is entirely based on his weapon as I am a tank build. I can solo hard devourer even being level 1. If you are weak after using catalysts at level 1, it's not because of your level but due to your setup.

You need to grind and upgrade those mods more. Also, try soloing it. If you fight it alone, it has way less health.

You have to go fast. Speed is 100% the most important part. However, you also need to take out that enemy that I engage with at the 30 second mark. He is worth 30,000 all on his own. You can ignore all the sub objectives like the fuel tanks. Just take out that guy and go as fast as possible. After you destroy the mission target, you can also also exit the room and start taking out some more missile launchers and bots for extra points while you wait for the bosses to show up.

The only problem with that is that not everyone is specced for arcane. The strategy I show in this video will work on every stat build.

Amy has a safe spot right under it when it jumps, and if you are alone, it will always try to center itself on you after jumping. So as long as you aren't too close to the wall, which pushes it off course, you can avoid it just by staying still after it jumps. (This doesn't work if you have a summon, because Amy splits focus and will not center up on either of you.)

@@rhiethreal yeah i just have to figure up a new strat for amygdala for the base game, cause i think my first time i just went in swinging and managed a win somehow. But the dungeon version, ill be damned if i do that fight again.

Just started ng+ the other day and working towards leveling all stats to max cause im not doin pvp and i hate seeing “room to grow” especially in a diminishing returns way and getting all my weapons to +10 and farming the best gems i can get with little grind time. Ive yet to see bloodletter or chikage true potential and im kinda hyped

There are a few options. Earplugs. Rocksteady Mantle. On Lance/Gunlance, you can block them sheath in time if you have the Quick Sheath skills.

It should still work. Last time I tried it, it still worked. Other people have confirmed it worked as well, and there have not been any new patches that could have stopped it from working.

Omg thank you i have been stuck at amy for three months now the defiled one not the main one although funny thing half of that was because i had a bloodgem that has the atk vs kin down in wich i did 234 dmg lol but i figure it out so it's all good but the third phase is a great pain
