Bruh I’m fairly confident this is the only student film at Cuesta to have a real explosion in it. Kudos for even being able to manage that 👏
Don't know how I stumbled upon this and decided to watch, but I'm glad I did. A dog, some firearms and a game of SK8...seems like a pretty good day...Plus a gratuitous grenade for good measure haha.
Judge Jimmy is more qualified as a judge than Clarence Thomas.
A+ commercial, died laughing
Paul Blurt kinda sexy ngl, what a gosh darn American hero.

Dang he got alot riding on this 2k game. The struggle of an Xbox homeboy trying to go MLG over his girlfriend.
I love this.......80s MONTAGE MUSAC!
The montage was really fun to watch! Great use of what training montages commonly look like in movies. The actors were also really funny in this video and I really liked how they all had character. I also felt that the abrupt comedy was really good especially at the end. The editing was overall very well done. I didn't see any parts where there was a jump cut or part in the video where the clips were goofy. I would say that the ending went on for too long and could have been cut down shorter. Or possibly show a scene at the end where the guy gets into his car to avoid the long length of time. I also think that there could have been more content in the beginning before the start of the montage. Giving a little more context into maybe why he wants to win. But I still thought the video was super funny and very well put together. The montage was well put together and I like the dramatic view of the montage. Overall really liked the editing of the video and the creativity behind it. Great work!
The shots used to direct the story were used well and brought an overall flow to the video. I like films with minimal talking because it helps me see if a film is accomplishing the aspect of telling a story. In this video, I was able to gather the story without the characters explaining it to me. The beginning was fun to watch as it was able to explain the context to when he realizes the sign of the guy. The use of POV also helped place me in the situation and to see what the primary character is personally seeing. And the matching actions in 2 scenes were really good. Especially when Andres is looking in the mirror and then abruptly turning around. For changes in the film, the audio levels were loud compared to others. Especially in the beginning, the sound of the water was very loud compared to the music. The dialogue of "Sorry, sorry" was also hard to hear at the end due to the music being loud. There was one shot of Andres looking outside at 3:00 that had a jumpcut. It brought me out of the film a little bit when that happened. I also think that some shots could have been extended more for the audience to understand what is going on. For example, the shot of the email Andres was reading was very quick. It made it hard for me to read the email he was reading so that I could understand what was happening. Overall the film was really good. The lighting for the dark scenes was also good and didn't have any issues where the video looked static because of the darkness. I felt that he used the correct temperature of light in order to fit the feeling of the scene. Overall, this was a great creepy film to watch.
