Actually I used to be embarrassed about the quality of my videos and i didn't dare to make any videos for 5 months because i was afraid of people judging me, but i realized that was a big mistake. we can't improve the video quality if we don't practice regularly. Now nothing can stop me from making new videos.
Yeaa thats so true ! Especially when you don't know whether things are working out or now. But actually sometimes YT videos can hit after a year of being posted so hang in there

Have you heard of the pottery class experiment? one group was asked to make as many pots as they can over 50 or something days and another group was asked to make 1 perfect pot. What ended up happening was the first group ended up making better pots cause they had more practice and the work to show the progress of their journey.
Ohh cool, thats a really good example ! It really helps to focus on getting over the hurdles of starting, and learn through repetition. Thanks for that example !
저도 필름 카메라 좋아해서 fm2 하나 가지고 있는데.. 필름값도 너무 비싸고 인화 인상하는 것도 일이라.. 그냥 디지털로 촬영해서 필름 느낌으로 보정을합니다. 하지만 한번씩 필름 카메라가 찍고싶을때 한롤씩 사서 찍습니다.
맞아요 어떤 영상에서 3년 4년 전 비해 필름값이 거의 2배 3배 높다고 들었어요. 저도 디지털으로 찍은 걸 필름처럼 수정해 봤어요. 사진 찍는 취미 진짜 재미있어요
저도 요즘 필름에 관심 생겨서 자동필름카메라 사용해보다가 이제 수동필름카메라 찾아보고 있네요!ㅎㅎ

Nice to see the perspective of someone getting into film well documented, brings back a lot of nostalgia of figuring stuff out when I got started! What’s the lab you used by the way? I’m travelling to Seoul in a few weeks and would like to check them out.
Thanks for checking out the video ! That place is called Yeonnam film (연남필름). If you get out of (홍대역)hongdae st. Its about 20mins east. Also super nice walk through the neighbourhood
Sheeeesh the price of film feels bad haha. How much did it cost to get them developed and scanned?
Haha yeaa truee. The stores prices were pretty similar to online film prices. The scanning was about 3.75 usd for color and 6.75 usd for b&w. Took a while to find one that was affordable haha

as someone who's desperately trying to learn Korean as fast as possible before I go at the end of 2024, feeling crunched on time, this short video kinda settled my mind down and made me realize i have so much time. Not just to learn but, dates can always be pushed back and set at a time when I'm much more comfortable in life and with the massive language barrier. I hope your interactions and experiences continue to stay positive over there! You've gained a new sub and I look forward to future videos from you!
Whooa, thats so exciting that you are going to Korea. Glad it helped ! I'd say my biggest advice if you are coming for the first time, is to read in hangul and increase your reading speed. Most things are in hangul
