Good vid. In my opinion the 67HFOV (aka the narrow view) lens is best for in-car view, at least in the Exige. For an example, in all of my videos I used the 67 lens. So ask when you buy the cam what their opinion of which lens to use. I say this because wider = a view more like a fish eye go pro and you can't see out the front as closely, and you see a lot of the side windows..which... I find who cares, you can't tell what is going on out the side anyway. Just my opinion, view other's videos and compare what you would like for yourself. You see in my examples that the view (when mounted on the harness/roll bar behind the seats) is a perfect view through the windscreen from left to right windscreen pillar. The camera can also be set to auto start and stop based on movement or speed and it is powered by OBDII. With that my Smartycam set up is basically 1000% hands off during track weekends. It just works without worry.

It is not yet 1080p. The mic recording level can be adjusted. An external mic can also be purchased.
Is the SmartyCam 1080p now? I don't see anything saying 1080p on the SmartyCam website. Also, is the sound always to quiet? No wind noise is good, but prefer to hear some engine/exhaust a bit
