@@KhaderBandak Thanks. I found another way. Had to go to edit mode, then click mesh. That opened a menu with Convex Hull in it as an option which worked.

@@XepaTheGOAT Not yet unfortunately. I've tried it at least 20 times and each time it turns out the same way. I'm convinced there's either a step in the process that I think I'm doing but not actually doing- or the current version of blender needs a different process to get the intended result
