I definitely have to squeeze at least one book in next month. I'm rather intrigued by "Her Demon Lover". I might have to check that out. As always, great book selections!
@@DahliaDeWinters I hope you do. I'm excited to finally get to this one. And thank you! 💀💜

@@krisreviews 😂 You'll have to come up with one.
Hi E.D. I've not long released my latest novel, and was wondering if you'd be interested in receiving a free digital copy to review? It's basically a supernatural horror with a folklore and vampire theme. It's called The Last Breath Before Death (released last November time). Thanks.
@@Gelbsy Thank you for reaching out. I looked into your book and it looks and sounds very intriguing, the only bad thing is that the earliest I would be able to read it will be in March, if that's okay with you.
@@edlewisnoctreviews Hi Ed. That would be fine, thanks. It's on Kindle Unlimited. But how can I get a copy over to you? I'm not sure you can put an email addy in the comments here, lol.
@@Gelbsy I'm not if TH-cam allows that, but you can message me on Insta at e.d._lewis_author or on Bluesky at edlewisauthor
These are some amazing prompts! I love that this includes such unique and fun activities as well. The perfect readathon for you! 🕯️🖤✨
@@DarkVioletDreams Thank you! It's definitely going to be a blast. 💜💀
I love the variety of prompts for this challenge. I'm looking forward to participating in all the gothic goodness!
@@literarylove123 Yay! It's going to be so much fun!
Excited! Your picks sound really good! The Demon Lover sounds like my jam! Can't wait to see what everyone does.
@@AuthorDLTillery Thank you! And me, too. 💀💜
Nice to meet Desmond and I absolutely love the prompt of the written letter ❤ You look great Lewis and I wish you so much gothic fun ❤
@@badrad9226 It'll be so much fun! Thank you! 💜
@@edlewisnoctreviews you’re welcome 🙂
Love you and proud of you they are all good.🎉
Good to meet Desmond! You need a full skeleton named Trask 🦴💀 Gothic place to visit. If I had the money I'd go to Edinburg, Scotland. Or Transylvania of course 🧛
@@mac888spectral7 I do. Wait, I do have a small skeleton I hung up in my library two Halloweens ago that kept going off, even when no one was in the room. Transylvania would be awesome. Salem or Sleepy Hollow or New Orleans, too.
As a Massachusetts native I've been to Salem, but it's been many years. I'm from the extreme Western end of the state. And yeah, New Orleans for sure. I even love just reading ghost and vampire themed content from there. Oh and Chapelwood (Chapelwait?) the huge old house Lizzy Borden lived in after the murders at her family home.
@mac888spectral7 Oh yeah, I forgot about Lizzy Borden's house.
I forgot about Desmond Collins! That's awesome. I'm looking forward to February! ❤
@@ReginasHauntedLibrary More and more I thought of a name Desmond Collins kept popping into my head. I'm so excited!
Those prompts are really cool! I love the idea of creating a dish or drink inspired by a gothic novel. The one with the religious theme seems like it would be difficult to find but interesting. Also, I love your Desmond Collins skull. 💀
@@DSMayCollins Thank you! The dish will be a challenge. I think the religious theme is more of an optional prompt due to the difficulty, but there are a few good ones out there. 💜
That’s awesome that you’re keeping a book journal. I’ve thought about doing that myself, actually. Great review!
@@DSMayCollins I'm trying to anyway; hopefully I'll stick with it. And thank you!
I definitely want to check out Red Masquerade! ♥️
@@DarkVioletDreams Please do! 💜 🐺

Werewolves in Carpathian Mountains?! Very interesting! Great review!

I’m happy you enjoyed the first book and hope you like the rest of the series. I’m looking forward to the Gothic Hearts Reading Challenge. 🐺
@@ReginasHauntedLibrary It was so good and I really enjoying book two and the twists. Gothic Hearts is always so much fun! 🐺💜
Glad you are finally feeling better!!! And good luck with the library update 🤗
@@krisreviews Thanks, hopefully I continue to improve. We'll see how the update goes.
I'm glad you're feeling better. I love the spooky little house! Enjoy your March break.

So beautiful ❤and a perfect choice of song 🎵
@@badrad9226 Thank you! This song has been on my mind.
@ it’s definitely a one of a kind song 🎧
Enjoy your March break ❤ You deserve the best of rest and enjoy your bookshelf organizing ❤ Your new skull is neat ! He would really cool on a candle holder top right corner shelf. Book Haul sounds fun 😊 I like when the audiobook is enjoyable. Fantastic review . Hmmm 🤔 Jessica running away from a bad guy . Dang !
@@badrad9226 He would be really cool as a candle holder. I feel like I need that rest, just under a month and a half to go.
@ yeah I understand that completely and I do think some much needed rest is needed and to find the joy in the moment.
@badrad9226 For sure
It will be fun to see your library after its update in March! Yeah I really struggle with AI narrations. If that one only fouled up one word, I 'd say that's pretty good. My current read is "I Was A Teenage Slasher" by Stephen Graham Jones. Told in the first person years later (2006 for some reason, though published just last year,) it's about the killer's murder spree in his small Texas hometown in 1989. The first half was not was I was expecting at all. I was getting a lot of the familiar vibes of every Grady Hendrix and Riley Sager novel I've read: Strong concepts, underwhelming delivery. But man it has REALLY picked up in the second half. I've had to force myself to slow down because with Monday being MLK Day, the library is probably closed until Tuesday.
@@mac888spectral7 I've heard mixed to good things about I Was A Teenage Slasher, weird that it would chose 2006 in stead of a more current time. I'm not sure how different the library will look, but I'm definitely going to rework it a little. And yeah, the AI only messed up a few words.
💚

@@DSMayCollins I've been wanting to listen to Maggie and Quentin for a long time and see what their adventures after Return to Collinwood are like. Thank you and still somewhat on the mend.
This would have fit in with the Bram Stoker Dracula film
@@darkkomet1653 For the most part yes, but there would have been several continuity problems.
Awesome double tags!! I will do the start of the year one for sure! Thanks for the mention. And yes, Trapped Within is coming out this year for sure as well as Beyond The Veil horror collection alongside Caliostro Book 2. LOL, I will be a busy bee! I enjoyed your answers. They are both cool tags. 🎉🎉
@@AuthorDLTillery I forgot about Beyond the Veil. Yay, Trapped Within! You're always a busy bee.
Thanks for the shoutout! I'm glad you did the end of the year tag. Sally's Lament seems like a perfect book to read during the fall to winter transition. Oohh, I love the questions for The Start of the Year Book Tag. Looking forward to seeing what you get up to in 2025!
@@literarylove123 You're very welcome! Sally's Lament is perfect for that time of year! Thank you and we'll see what happens.
R.L. Stine had a non childrens/YA book from maybe 20 years ago that I really liked. I can't recall the title anymore. There is a vampire series I liked by Scott Phillips called "Pete: Drinker Of Blood." There are 5 books so far, still waiting on #6. I'll also look at whatever Bryan Smith has coming out. His stuff is just straight up horror, which I've sort of strayed from. But always with the understanding there is Stephen King and then there is everybody else, Bryan Smith is my favorite of everybody else.
@@mac888spectral7 I've heard of Stine's adult books, I saw one out and about once. Bryan Smith sounds familiar.
Well I will give this a go for tomorrow's audiobook time. Sounds like a cute and fun time. Happy Werewolf winter, my friend! ❄
@@nymunfashionablepoetry Let me know what you think of it! Happy Werewolf Winter 🐺

Happy New Year! This one sounds fun! I loved reading goosebumps growing up so this right up my alley.
@@AuthorDLTillery Definitely recommend it in that case. Happy New Year!
I am currently reading Pretty Girls by Karen Slaughter 😊

I miss wearing my horns , I absolutely love ❤your horns 😮 My horns curl . I don’t think I have read a werewolf book but I do enjoy a paranormal romance book. I should look into that. Sounds like a fun book and interesting with the idea of a werewolf in it . I would like to read maybe some children audiobooks, there’s plenty of free books out.
@@badrad9226 I thought they were going to curl this time, but nope they just went up and out. There are plenty of werewolf and wolf-shifter romances out there.
