I remember getting this ending before without knowing the code, I felt backstab and betrayal all at the same time, like strong. Then like depression after that, like how Jason felt at that moment.. Man, these games do you strong when you're absorbed in the story. If I was Jason, I'd be most depressed over losing Eve and be like '....' everyday, since she was the love of my life and wouldn't accept any other. Lol

My dear Anna Fran, she didn't deserve this ending. Got this ending first, it got me crying on the poem part.

Even if we cant get this game. At least keep the costume for GV in some crossover game or spinoff, dude is looking dashing with that outfit.

Never did like the ending to be actually canon, because…. 1. Yeah, GV suffered alot and finally ended. That gives off another bittersweet ending which will now stay there without him suffering more. But many forget Kirin, who has NO intentions of killing GV at all and her face during the dialogue really shows she’s not calm but extremely worried. That only happened during the fight with GV. The fact Kirin failed to save GV will more likely haunt her since she couldnt save her partner. 2. With GV gone, the world is saved. But Kirin, she’s gonna go through alot given she couldnt save someone which hurts both the reputation of Dragon Saviors and Sumeragi. And lastly, even though GV’s end would mean prevention of the world from being destroyed, there are still Adepts out there that can be a threat. So its not gonna stop. The best ending is better because Kirin has hope that GV is alive which is enough reason for her to continue working and find a way to save GV. Thankfully with Epilogue of Atem existing, the best ending is canon and even though we cant see GV, his shard is enough evidence shown he is alive, as well as useful for research. So, Kirin has a clue which more likely gonna lead to GV4.

Being honest, despite being the most challenging BMZ, this has the method to unlock the true ending that I least like in the saga. 1 and 2 were to complete certain things but 3 asks you to interact during a cinematic (which has never been established in the entire BMZ Saga)

It's kinda F'd, but I sort of feel that Gun Volt being unable to get a happily ever after is almost tied to that megaman X/Zero DNA. Regardless of how hard the Heroes try, they ultimately cannot escape the call to be heroes and their inevitable end for constantly playing the big damn hero card is death. It's sad, but it does give us more games.

My favorite things about this ending 1. It’s actually the least conclusive ending in the trilogy. Unlike the previous two true endings where Jason and Eve achieved all they had to achieve, in this one, the two already know what their next goals are before setting off, which I find quite beautiful as the ending of a saga. 2. Their children being named Roddy and Elfie is especially heartwarming in this trilogy since it’s in remembrance of the pilot and droid of the Andreia, the MA that saved Eve’s life 3. I love how the after credits scene shows that Jason and Eve are taking Kane’s advice of “always strive to be with your family” to heart. 4. Leibzig probably gets the best draw of all the characters in this ending since she actually gets a second chance to protect something she cares about, this time being Jason and Eve’s children. 5. Early on in the game, Jason reveals to Leibzig that he was born in a lab and has never had a proper family, which is why he puts so much in to protecting Eve and Fred, they’re the closest thing to family he has had, which makes him thanking Kane for allowing him to find an irreplaceable family all the more emotional. 6. Last but not least, the last shot is Jason blasting off to new lands just how he does in the first game. You cannot get more perfect then that.

i’m probably a little late but how do you guys get the secret missions and all that? bc i’m the last 2 games it’s just beat the main story and bam you got it. and i’m done with the main story and currently try to get all the IP. is there a requirement for the secret missions? and the true ending if there is one?

I shed a tear seeing Sophia-J1 speed off through the tunnel at the end, just like Sophia 3rd in the NES game <3

Why I think that I'll be more "true endings" on playstation versions?

Mytyl is a mix if Sailor Moon and Cardcaptor Sakura. Xio is Shaoron Li and Gunvolt is Tuxedo Mask.

so many theories and lores, if Inti keeps on doing those secret stuff, there will be total chaos of unstoppable spinoffs and expansions of an Intiverse I remember a secret ending of Bloodstained which indicates the protagonist warping to the Gunvolt timeline, somehow a secret Gal Gun x Gunvolt x Bloodstained crossover timeline is happening, let alone some guest bosses making their ways to laix2 dlcs, this just shows everything is possible now. Inti is having fun mixing up those lores, maybe on purpose, some characters even share similar lores and abilities from previous games even including the earliest MMZero, I don't know if they occur because of lazy designs but eventually they had some connections

Isnt this still technically a bad ending? In both endings, massive sacrifices had to be made and peace ultimately came through in both endings. I still consider both bad endings. One just happens to be slightly sweeter, while the other one feels more grounded and real.

I wouldn't call it a bad ending. At least gv won't have to suffer anymore

I don't know why people think this is the best ending. I want you think would happen to kirin. What would she feel killing her friend? She would never be able to forgive herself, would probably be depressed, may grow to hate herself, may not have the will to continue on fighting, etc.

God this single ending confused me at first. ...it didn't dawn to me I needed to use the visor, cause when I tried to use the alternate method (using the x key) It wasn't working

You know I always thought to myself this was goofy idea, but honestly... if we had this much flexible post game in any other game I would not mind
