What was the temperature and what was the time? It depends on the temp humidity and time if that was in the morning the morning is the coldest part of winter ❄️ it wired why it gets colder in the morning then the night

That's a pretty sweet Kirby you've got there. 👀
Worthless video
If the Fan Motor and the Compressor are getting "weaker", it could means that the capacitor is about to fail. If the fan and the compressor eventually get "stuck", it means that the capacitor failed and that should be an easy fix.
I recently replaced a 35+6uF capacitor that failed with a 35+5uF on a 2013 LG 6000 BTU, and it is working like new again. I also added a smaller 1uf Cap to the 5uF side in parallel to have 6uF on the fan side.
Interestingly, this looks like a mirored version of the LG "mini-PTAC" 5000 BTU AC model (LW5016).
This video needs to go viral
Average shenanigans... 1:22 me trying to tear off my shirt 💀💀💀
lol 😂 this video is just funny 💯🤣👍
Hey bro remember carson01XJ he has air conditioners as well he should join you Tho you sound sick you been coughing
@@justinlyonsPawPatrol yeah I had a cold at the time of recording lol
@@WeatherWheelHVAC hope you feel better but though did you ever subscribe to Carson01XJ he has cool air conditioners too. He has vintage ones and modern ones. The modern ones he has the LGs GEs and one haier some other vintage ones from the 90s he has the sharp with digital controls Samsung with digital controls but he has other vintage ones with manual controls on the fedders with the digital controls, you should install a little beep speaker on the circuit board because digital controls on every different air conditioners should have a beep noise so you know what you’re controlling and Carson01XJ has a sharp comfort control air conditioner with digital controls and it doesn’t have a beep noise on the circuit board he should install it so that way every air conditioners with digital controls like my grandma‘s Frigidaire’s has a beep noise when you press the buttons because I like that feature because it tells me what you’re controlling just like the modern air conditioners
Those are cool air conditioners
Hey Bro, Your All Videos Are Fantastic And Love to See Your Videos
Hello bro, when can you turn on your grandmother's air conditioning?
That model is actually from the 1950’s. It debuted in 1951 and ran until like 1960.
@@gsm19911 indeed I did some research a year or so ago and found out the house was built in 1953 so I assume its from around that time
@@WeatherWheelHVACI see many of the same exact boiler in this video in operation here in Albany, NY to this day. They were one of the best back then. We had a Weil McLain gas boiler from 1955 in my house that was original to the house also with the original 3 circulator pumps. We replaced it in 2017 to be proactive but we regret it now. Besides a few parts and adjustments here and there, the boiler was fine but we got talked into it. Our boiler service guy retired and we hired “one of the big companies” to service our old boiler. That was a mistake. He talked us into replacing what I believe was a perfectly good boiler. Well anyways we ended up with a new Weil McLain CGA Gold model. I didn’t want high efficiency because I didn’t want to have to drill through concrete and brick to vent it so we stuck with a conventional boiler. I was adamant about going with another Weil McLain. Our other choices were New Yorker, Utica Boiler, or Bryant but I stuck with replacing the old Weil McLain with a new one. Anyways thanks for the video!
Had you seen those Midea U shaped window air conditioners? They have a reputation of being the quietest units out there today.
nice video love it good job keep the awesome work to the units are getting rid of any vintage window acs ill take some I'm trying so hard to get something thats vintage
if you ever want to sell it please let me know! ive been looking for a while.
I have the same one but goldstar version
0:18 someone made that AC in Roblox
I love these units do you still have it?
I have that model still working in my house...
I don't think the wiring in my mom's house with a like that philco pretty sure we would be spending a lot of money on screw-in fuses it's a 150 year old house with the original wiring there is a fetters weather wheel in the living room but we don't use it very much given there's a bird's nest in it
Those American-made Rotary compressors sound better than the Chinese-made ones.
Had a nineteen thousand BTU unit like that a cooling machine
4:27 loud Carrier cosmopolitan
I'm using this exact unit to cool my entire house, I need to take it apart to clean it. Are there any bolts that need to be undone to take it out of it's sleeve? It's currently still mounted to the wall, not sure if it can be removed still in the wall either. Any advice would be appreciated!
I have this air conditioner and I've been looking into whether or not I should replace it. It still works just fine and based on your video I won't be replacing it for now. Thank you!
0:48 The compressor sounds like a Ruud air conditioner!
The Friedrich has very peaceful white noise!
Want to get a ac but only have enough for a thrift shop one.....they have a 12k and a 18k and was wondering how long does the freon charge normally last if you say buy a older one thats been used and if so do you have to go through charging it. Oh and are most older ones r22 and is the air much cooler then lets say i buy a new one.
These were all thru the wall units with HIGH BTU capacity. The new units would not even drain properly from condensate. My guess is that the inferior drain holes would clog and I bet that water pools in the external sleeve probably contributing to premature corrosion. The OLD Friedrich Quiet master drained beautifully with every use. The new Friedrich ACs are inferior GARBAGE, literally. That whole ad campaign of best in the world is a total LIE. They are pure crap.
The worst decision I ever made was to buy a new Friedrich in 2011 when my old Quiet master stopped working. It was very likely a simple thermostatic issue. Quick fix I'd say. I got rid of an amazing unit. The new Friedrich cost $2500 and lasted 7 years. The second unit after that lasted 6 years. I will bet that the original Quiet master would still be going strong in 2024. I have Westinghouse units in 2 apartments that are still cooling after 40 years!! My original Friedrich Quiet master (1988) was a BABY by comparison. What a costly and disastrous decision for me.
Wow, this was sad to read man lol..yeah that freidrich would still be going strong lol.
The first I remember seeing one of those outdoor units was at a Dollar General store in a building that probably 100 years old now. The store is moved out some 20 years ago. The outdoor unit was replaced sometime in the 90s. It didn't seem to have that long of a life. I wish I had a picture of the indoor air handler. I thought it was as interesting as the outside unit.
That thing probably would have outlived whatever they put in.
Hello. This is great air conditioner, mine is still working great after 40 years! Question: Where is the air filter? (It's never been cleaned)
Sweet find! Always liked the look of these, just how different they look from the regular config with the fan blowing upwards.
I just want to know from you when it was made and when it became remote operated???
Cool
Cool find. Also nice that you got tbe air handler. Looks like a ceiling mounted style air handler. Cant wait to see it restored.
Nice ac is that the one with WiFi
That sounds like a an LG 6000 BTU window air conditioner
I got to see one as somebody's house
In case anyone is wondering, it has a negative 5 seer rating
