Unlock U Ep 165: Shattering Toxic Patterns Cycles with Andria Booles
Are you tired of feeling like you’re always stuck in the same relationship pattern? It can be frustrating when you’ve done the self-work, made those vision boards, and still find yourself attracting the same types of people! In this week’s episode, I’m sitting down with my friend and brilliant colleague, Andria Booles, a therapist at Crawford Clinics. 😉
We’re diving into why we keep attracting the same kind of relationships, despite all our good intentions and mindset shifts. Andria brings her expertise in psychosomatic therapy, which looks at how our mind and body are deeply connected, helping us better understand the energy we give off and how it impacts our relationships.
We explore topics like balancing masculine and feminine energy (and no, this isn’t about gender roles!), how past experiences shape what we bring into relationships, and how to break the cycle of repeating unhealthy patterns. Andria’s got some incredible insights on how creating safety within ourselves is the key to drawing in deeper, more fulfilling connections with others.
Whether you’re single, dating, or married, you’ll find something in this episode to help you align with the relationships you really want.
Join us for a fun, deep, and enlightening conversation-can’t wait to hear your thoughts!

    I'm probably going to be the bad guy and hated for my comments but here goes. The 10 commandments say thou shall not commit adultery. That shall not covet another man's wife . So why should God forgive you for your sins . These are the rules so live by them or parish. God is loving but just. Amen

      Reading the parable of the prodigal son may bring light to your question. We all can be either of the 2 sons, or the father, where we are called. I see it like God invites us to be part of redemptiom in this world.

    Imo when someone is planning on having an affair they should do so with the understanding that they are practically divorcing their spouse. To commit an affair with the mindset that they will just go home to their spouse and everything will just work out is disgustingly selfish behavior

    So my husband left me for a girl who's like four years younger I'm 25 , he's 22, and she's 21 . I'm pregnant with his child, and he wanted to be a father so we both prayed about it to make him happy. Now he's with a girl who has two babies who are not his. This is also my second child, the first from a different guy. So I'm just wanting him , my husband, back and wish for anyone who reads this to pray for him to come back to me and to our child who is on the way and also for my first child too.

      @ThereIsHopeWithGod 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@SublimeSubliminalHeir Hi Dear One, First I'd like to make clear that nothing is "my credits..." My belief comes directly from the Word of the Living God: As a woman also, I never struggled with this even from my younger years, because it is made very clear (I didn't grow up in a religious household either...) I simply would read the Word: The Word of God says that “A woman should learn in quietness and full submission: I do not permit a woman to teach or to have authority over a man; she must be silent” (1 Timothy 2:11-12). In the church, God assigns different roles to men & women. This is a result of the way 'man' was created & the way in which sin entered the world (1 Timothy 2:13-14). God/Christ, through the apostle Paul, restricts women from serving in roles of teaching and/or having spiritual authority over men. This precludes women from serving as pastors over men, since pastoring definitely includes preaching, teaching publicly, and exercising spiritual authority.

    You've never met someone addicted to drugs have you? Im not saying suger is great or anything. However I've never heard of anyone robbing someone at gun point to get money to go to a candy store. Of course I mean no disrespect, I think that people do overlook how harmful /excessive/ amounts of sugar can be. Still I wouldn't personally compare it to drugs as that trivializes drugs.

    You have people who love you. You have stories to tell. Life is hard. Nobody said it would ever be easy. You'll have ups and downs. I've been having a really rough time lately, I've had some issues with my dad, and I don't really feel loved. My mom is hardly ever around because of work. My sister seems to hate me. I've lost my best friend because she started treating me like nothing. I'm pretty sure my other best friend offed herself. The days all seem to blur together lately. I'm tired, and I dont get enough sleep. Everything seems to be really bad lately, but that's no reason for me to give up. It's just another season in my life. There are so many things to be happy about! Sure, I'm hurting, but there's a baby laughing, a bright blue sky, a peaceful rainy night, a cool breeze, warm sweaters, tight hugs that make everything else slow down, really awful dad jokes, tv shows to binge, popcorn to be eaten, old cartoons to bring me back to the good old days, my favorite sandwich that I've eaten every day since 2020, sushi rolls, arguing with friends on how to hold chopsticks, holiday with yummy food and no consequences, fireworks that still dazzle me each time I see them, traditions that make me feel like a kid again, favorite hobbies, favorite songs, old youtubers, favorite games, favorite people, new hobbies, new songs, new youtubers, new games, new people, new memories, old stories, laughing, crying, enjoying the ups and downs because I realize that I wouldn't be me without every single second leading up to this moment, sure, it was a pain in the bum to get here, but would I like who I was if I hadn't gone through all of it? Would I be able to understand other people's pain the way I do now? Would I be able to help people the way I can now? Everything in life makes you who you are, whether it hurts or not. Everything has led up to this point. You will have ups, and you will have downs no matter what, so are you really going to give up every single happy moment you have experienced and every happy moment you will experience just because you're in a season of hurting? Are you really going to give up future friends, family, and loved ones just because you're in a temporary state of pain? Sunshine, I know you're tired of trying, but don't let this current mindset steal future joy from you. I'm proud of you for making it this far, dont give up.
