This Time It’s for Real
It was great to see Southside Johnny and the Asbury Jukes at the Tin Pan. What an amazing show! Here’s a video of one of their all-time favorite tracks. Enjoy!

What an amazing group! We had never seen them, but Karen had met Martin through her friend stick, the road manager of the show “Come from Away.” A few conversations and Martin offered guest list passes. Karen made cookies for the band, we went to the show with our pal John…and had an amazing time! These fellas from Galway are the Real Deal!

the great Felice Brothers (featuring Jesske Hume on bass, Ian and James Felice on guitar and keys, William Lawrence on drums) visited the Richmond Music Hall at Capital Ale House on 15 Oct 2021. What a great show! We were also fortunate to be grace with the wit and wonderful work of Al Olender as opener and encore guest. Enjoy!

In celebration of the Out o' the Blue Radio Review Kitchen Segments that WCVE/VPM released recently, Tim Timberlake and other put together a wonderful evening of music featuring Page's friends, band mates, and family. A great evening of fun, music, tears, and remembrances not only of Page but also Jay Gillespie and Terry Garland, May they all rest in peace.

Cowboy (Scott Boyer & Tommy Talton) perform one of Scott's songs from their 1974 album, Boyer & Talton. I recorded this at the wonderful reunion event in the famed FAME Studios in Muscle Shoals, AL. July 20, 2014. Also in attendance: Studio owner Rick Hall and author Galadrielle Allman.

Scott Boyer & Tommy Talton of Cowboy playing an absolutely gorgeous song. Bill Pillmore and Scott wrote this song, and it appeared on the debut Cowboy albu, "Reach for the Sky." This performance was July 20, 2014 at FAME Studios in Muscle Shoals, AL. It was so worth the 800-mile ride on my motorcycle! As always, please feel free to subscribe and give that thumbs up on the video. Thanks!

Abusa con lo slide dovrebbe toccare poche note ma buone peccato va suonata più semplice
I'd like to learn the slide part of this song.
Big Big….!!!!

Rest in peace Tommy, may he find the peace that he wrote about. one of the greatest.
Rest in Peace, Tommy 🙏😔 Yall grab Duane and jam something good!
And now.... RIP Tommy... gone but never forgotten...
Man that sucks. I got a chance to ask Tommy about what they were talking about at the beginning of this song with Duane and he actually told me 🙏 Something I won't ever forget. Rest in Peace, Tommy.
Tbh, Tommy might be the only person I've ever spoken with that actually knew Duane personally. Off the top of my head, he's the only one I can think of.
And Alex handled this incident as the funny part of his natural charm that he usually dishes out in private with his mates, but he this in public , he handled this in a funny constructive way , kuddos to Alex
Tommy is great, but skydog had a more mellow version of this song
I just discovered this gem. Nice. Thank you!
There are at least two versions of this song. The 5'll Getcha Ten version everyone knows. It is different from the version that appears on Duane Allman: Anthology. Great song.
Just telling a friend today this is the greatest song ever recorded. Thanks guys!
Bill used to open for our band (Blackhawk) at Town hall in Chapel Hill solo in '73. It was his first onstage experience.
I love this!!!
One of the most underrated talents in country rock
Wonderful, Joe! RIP Bill Blue.
Such a great guy. Soulful gentle kind and his music!!
I gotta have this book!!!thank you
THE ALLMAN BROTHERS BAND GENIUSZ GENIUSZ GENIUSZ nad GENIUSZAMI KOSMOS KOCHANI na zawsze dziękuję BOGU za wszystko dziękuję BARDZO

Hey, Joe. Have you found any more footage from this day? Thank you so so much for sharing these clips with us. Duane Allman means a lot to me personally. Having been given his middle name as my own middle name, I've always felt a connection to the man. The Allmans have been a staple in my household since before I was even born. Growing up, I was always told "you know we named you after Duane Allman of The Allman Brothers Band. The best guitar player there ever was" and I'd respond "Yea. I know 🙄" As a kid the 1980s, I hated the name Duane. I didn't understand the significance. Today, I couldn't be prouder than to be named after the person I consider the best guitar player ever and the person that inspired me to learn to play guitar. And I'll share that fact with anyone lol. That tells you just how proud I am to share the middle name Duane with Howard Duane Allman. And how thankful I am for my parent bestowing that name upon me. 😁❤️🙏
Thank you, Joe. 🙏❤️
I was also born in Nashville & raised in Daytona beach & your dad would throw sago palm nuts & pine cones at me because I was always sitting in there back yard listening to them play...After i picked one up & hit him in the back of the head ( lucky shot, i was six) i ssaid im sorry i didn't mean to hit you. He turned around & said i meant to hit you kid & smiled & walked thu the back door..But once he found out I was also from Nashville the family took me under there wing .🍑.Mama A would make lemonade & make sure I had mine..LOL...My family moved back to Nashville a year later ( back & forth, back & forth) & i only seen Duane a couple more times but made lifetime friends with Gregg & Mama A..And the 80s were nuts I met.Frankie & Danny Toler thu Gregg & witnessed the Gregg Allman Band go from playing bars with less than a hundred people some nights to playing huge venues after Im No Angel hit MTV...In 89 Frankie & Danny moved to Nashville ( Manchester Tn) & they hung out in my little demo studio..I have some cool stories I could tell, but some ill never tell LOL ...They were good folks..Eat a .🍑for ✌️
Miss you Page Wilson!❤😢❤🎶🎸🎶❤️
I knew Page well! I was his first band photographer and his first wife worked with me way back.Great giy.Loved forever ❤
That's great. It was nice meeting you. I shared it to the fan club. Would love to see more. Thank you.
Happy Heavenly Birthday to the unsung Mr. Terry Garland and in very VERY loving memory too (1953 - 2021 R.I.P. Gone but NOT forgotten) ... 2023-0603
That guitarist reminds me of The late "Terry Kath"
the parking deck man ive heard stories bout that place
Love this! Of course my band does a cover version of this song . . .😃
One of the best songs ever written.
Their greatest track 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
Used too see Bill at The Stanhope House in NJ 3 OR 4 years running. This is exactly how I remember the band. RIP Bill, you left a wonderful musical legacy right up until the end.
Será que foi premeditado?😂😂😂😂😂
Hey Joe, I had no idea that there was video of this until I stumbled across this one.
It was a WCVE broadcast. Terry Garland, Robbin Thompson were also guests.
@@MojoUX Thanks, Joe. I was in a conversation recently with my mom and cousin about Clarence Richmond in Athens (he was my Grandparents insurance agent for years) and thought about you and how you were doing. Mike Davis
This is special. If you know the history. Long love Duane 🤙🏽
Thanks Joe! RIP Bill. Great band line up, wonderful to hear them again!
So sweet very nice. Thanks for being .
Really nice version. I'm a huge Rory fan, love that you interpreted rather than copied. Great job!
I lived in Norfolk for several years during and after college. It’s pretty cool to think that I’ve stood and gazed across at those same shipyards that inspired Robbin’s song.
She's a fine writer. Thanks for posting.
I been the beneficiary of decades of visits to this song, I LOVED Cowboy. What a wonderful piece of soul got on that recording.
素晴らしい!!(wonderful)
I sure do miss Scott.. but, I will see him again ..ONE DAY, KAHUNA
It should never be lost on anyone that Duane was just in his very early 20s when all this was transpiring. Few people overflow with the level of confidence and visionary talent that Duane possessed. I love hearing stories about him as much as listening to his music.
You and me both. The world lost A LOT when we lost Duane.
