This is difficult. A prisoner's paradox at heart. Egwene only survived because Renna went for the "do ut des" approach. Still letting her die after being freed is kind of dishonorable. I kind of would have liked it more if she'd have let her live showing Renna that she was above revenge. Renna was not a sadist on her own initiative. She was part of a sytem that exploited Suldams and damanes alike. There could have been two scenarios. One: Egwene sets her free as well and one day they meet again.... or: Egwene would have kept her collar on - but only to be safe from her, not to order her around or limit her freedom in any other way. This would have kept her arround and could have been the beginning of a redemption arc where - at one point - Egwene sets her free.

It's interesting how people think that Mogedhien could defeat Lanfear. Don't trust scenes that are made only as cliffhangers... This scene is only here to add some shock and interest to what's to come. Lanfear is far more stronger. Mogedien is among the weakest of them, maybe even the last in their ranks... 😂 Wait until you see Demandred, Graendal and others who are on top of the food chain 🔥

I thought that Witcher would beat Game of Thrones but when they decided to change Henry Cavil then I was be like forget about it Game of Thrones gonna be the best series for forever but then Wheeel of Time came and then again hope went to the higher peak leavel😅😅😊

Season 1 was a dogshit. I understand the covid restriction made it a hell to produce, but still, it had so many problems I rated in 2/10. S02 on the other hand is completely different beast, and S02E05 (Damane) was the best piece of fantasy I saw in perhaps a decade. From absolute hater to a complete funboy, bring that S03 on! Btw i still think its very rushed and they should have gone for 12ep per serie, not 8.

Couldnt pick up a jug of water because she wanted to use it as a weapon against Renna, but apparently she can pick up an a'dam, attack Renna with it with no issue while fully intending to use it against her as a weapon. After spending a weird amount of time telling us she wouldn't be able to do anything even coming close to harmful without being turned into a pretzel Ok lul gotta get that girl boss murder moment in I guess

Glad I didn't watch it here or then. Soon as I saw the pup I looked up the website DOES THE DOG DIE and found out. I was prepared and my husband watched it as I covered my eyes and ears. He mentioned how the baby was killed and it was so unnecessary. See the way I am Legend did it atleast made sense, John Wick made sense bc of the narrative but this is one of those times where it felt like it was done cheaply for shock value. Damn unnecessary.

From what i saw she was the nicest one of her damane or whatever they are called. She let Egwane keep her name and actually tried to established some sort of a friendship with her. Yes Egwane was enslaved and beaten up but all im saying the rest of her kind were probably worse.

I like everything about this scene. Except the webs, which are much too on-the-nose for my taste. Moghedien is not called The Spider because she has spider powers.
