I had so much fun with this game, it makes me want to visit! If you had slapped the gardener a second time after he asked you to use the mower he says "Don't be shy lad, give that lawnmower the old grab and squeeze just like in the Navy." Probably my favorite quote from the game!

Wonderful stuff. I can see a collection of shorts from this town for sure. It doesn't even need an overarching story. Just a small collection of gags. But it could also be argued that this game lasted as long as it needed. Part of what makes this game wonderful is that it is its own thing. A singular unique vision that is unapologetically itself: Silly, colorful and British. Cheers.

Thanks for your playthrough. I loved your reaction to all the jokes. If you do another playthrough for yourself, go find Nick every time you go back to the town square. It's one of the longest payoffs for a joke in the game, and the best, IMO. You got partway there, but a little too late.

Thank goodness you're here. Very rarely does youtube ever give me the opportunity to witness such authentic british documentation filmed on location. As an american, I thank you for the opportunity to be educated on your rich culture. For instance, I never knew you slapped each other to initiate dialogue.

Your commentary sometimes blends into the game almost too perfectly. It's only because the game is so lovely, I've watched lets-plays of it probably a dozen times already, and I know what sounds are there in the game, I know what's yours even by ear.

There may be something for you. :) I don't recall hearing you mention it, so I'll say the song that plays on Roy's radio, and in the mouse church, and that the mice are singing, and that is also in the credits, is "On Ilkla Moor Baht 'at", which is apparently the unofficial anthem of Yorkshire. There's a wiki article that gives all the lyrics and translation, which are worth reading. You can find the rendition of the song the game used at the end, on youtube; it's the one with the yellow record label. Oh, also, if you've got 15 minutes, maybe try starting the game over and sitting in the chair in the Mayor's reception. ;)
