Definitely that's my goal with the channel. Fish different lakes and give advice and spots where you can fish to be productive. On a big lake it's super hard to find good spots by foot

Here's the crazy part... if he gets a license suspension, due to the IWVC, he will not be able to get a fishing license in any state. That means no public water, no private water in many states, and no tournaments (including the 2025 Classic) for the length of the suspension

If you type in Wilson lake (Google maps) you can see the road that the boat ramp is on and to the left of that is a parking lot. Behind where you park, there is a hill where there is a trail to hike. Follow the trail straight back and go down the other side of the hill carefully. There will be concrete pillars and sideways trees down there and you will see where I was fishing

Winter is tough for a lot of anglers. But 20 to 25° c the water is still pretty good I would think they would still be shallow and secondary points. Obviously it depends on a lot of factors if it's windy or sunny outside. I would try spinnerbaits and crankbaits if it's windy. If it's not windy and it's real sunny I would try soft plastics. Wacky rig is pretty good. You're lucky that your winter the water doesn't get as cold.

I was worried about using a bottom mount because The drone tries to fly upward if it senses something under it but I guess there's a setting to turn that off

@@OnlyfinsfishingOK I didn't have to change any settings so the Avata 2, I don't think it was under the sensors, that could be different with the M4P. The only thing I had to do was DIY a launch pad for it with the camera underneath but that was easy enough to do as you can see in my video.

@@OnlyfinsfishingOK yah taking off on that thing is easy, landing, nope lol I usually just hand land it so I don't accidentally wreck the camera 🤣 I might design a launch pad and 3D print it and I've also redesign the tether at the bottom using spring to give it more stability during flight.

@@OnlyfinsfishingOK I haven’t been doing well at Elmer Thomas lately. Lawtonka has been good. Got a 5lb blue catfish on a jig today while fishing for white bass. 🤷🏻‍♂️
