Have to change a battery on my cousin's one of these scooters coz she left it outside in the the freezing frosty weather and it destroyed the battery.. she never listened to me when she 1st got it and I told her how to look after the battery so scooter would last her a good long time.. (but in one ear and out the other 😅) she's lucky I know electronics because here in Ireland 🇮🇪 the only place to get scooters/E-bikes fixed is DUBLIN CITY(70 miles away from here) have a nice little side earner now fixing scooters/E-bikes.. almost one a day around this time of year because of Xmas and all the kids with broken one's want them fixed.. 😁💸💰 ANY-WHOOOO!! Thank God for this tear down video because I was having trouble figuring out how to get the old battery out😊👍🇮🇪

My F40 is showing a code 14 and 15, so I suppose I have to disassemble the Handlebars like this to fix the throttle.

I think my battery might have water damage, I charged it while it was still wet. I can’t get it to charge. Is it possible to get a replacement battery and where would I get one?

I removed the two screws from the bottom and top but can’t pry off the first part where the charger plugs into. Is it by brute force?

My f40 has almost 1,000 miles on it and I freaking love it but it has developed a nasty creaking sound whenever you shift your weight between feet or hit a bump. It's really depressing and I need to fix it. I'm guessing the battery needs to be removed and the entire area cleaned underneath then everything tightened back up?
