I mean asking your opponent if there are any active effects from their cards is a fine thing to do imo. Since it's on both players to maintain game state and it's easy to forget things like an Ice Wall etc.

@@TheMessiahTCG maintaining gamestate doesn't mean they have to remind you of anything. "Information printed on a specific card mentioned by name or otherwise clearly described". This is the only information pertaining to card effects a opponent is required to tell you per Bandai rules. If a Ice Wall is in effect it's on you to remember Ice Wall was played last turn and it's only on the opponent player to make sure you don't miss losing the 2 memory during your [When Attacking] step. Some things are done and soft expected in locals like "Do you have any blockers"(though asking if a specific unit has blocker must be answered truthfully) or things like that but it's not a **rule** that players have to answer questions like the one you're describing and no punishment would be handed out unless you asked the question and your opponent lied about one of the effects they decided to describe.

@@Perceval308 yeah it feels like to do well in big events you need to play something that can beat MagnaX. To be honest imperial is kinda a gatekeeper as well, not as bad as Magna until next set but you know lol

@@GruntGeneral808 that's not a bad idea, I've seen some builds also play X-Anti so they can swing with Magna and Evo into Magna X

@@thevoidbeckons training makes you a turn slower, which helps other decks prepare to deal with it

@@TheMessiahTCG True but I also don't sit on the training, I can use it right away and wait to pop until I need it.

@@TheMessiahTCG if you need it ASAP it's a turn slower, yeah, but you have the option to use it turn 1 and keep it until you need it. THANKFULLY there's no interaction with delay cards your opponent is able to do at this time.

@@thevoidbeckons true. I’m wondering if I should do a more aggressive build. John was right, my deck is more control. I find that with ace cards and certain still using security bombs, swinging raw alpha OU into security can be a death sentence

​@@anthonywhylly1604 110% dude, I think experimenting with an aggressive build could be super interesting. This meta is fast af and maybe something like 1 cost ukko could help increase consistency while also applying damage! (death to ukko tho)

Overall you played well dude, the aggression from Ukko + MetalGrey is just nuts sometimes.

@@Bunoin I find them tedious to play against since pretty much all they do is stall until the OTK. But the more reps you get in the matchup I think the better of you are! In this game in particular I should of won G1 but I'm bad lmao

@@joshuabonorino9561 I don't think Magna is quite as bad as Apocaly, but I see your point. Both cards kinda make the game miserable to play haha

@@TheMessiahTCG think about it, it can be searched by many cards, can do two attacks, has armor purge so hard to get rid of the stack, has 3 colors so can use a lot of options that can boost/support the card and since it has royal knight in trait can digivolve into jesmon gx. vs apocalymon which barely has searchers so having to mill to try and get the card and is very slow and can be affected by option cards if they stashed a cranimaon underneath. That is why they need to bring back apoc maybe not at 4 but at least 2-3

@@joshuabonorino9561 I see where you're coming from but I don't think apocaly can come back friend. That card with Belphemon immunity can be incredibly toxic and not interactive which I don't believe is good for the game. Magna is similar, but it also falls off a cliff starting next set. Maybe hitting something like "Awakening" to 1 could also help slow the deck down.

leviamon always kills at least 1 body. He had 1 body on field The effect that you refer is the one that kills the highest lvl digimon, that one only triggers like you said when the opponent has more digimon/ tamers. However the second effect is a then, which means it is no longer conditional.

So I'm fairly certain that the way emperor works is that it actually steals turn as you raise out of breeding so you actually never get your "start of main" effects. Learned that afterward

@@Sakram3nt yeah 7GDL has a pretty good time into cherubi I think. Especially if they see biting crush and one of the many levias. Rapid tribal for sure has a better time into the deck though!

@@aujk78 I just like to yap, tbh magna isn't too bad imo as long as you're playing something that can kinda deal with
