Cable companies?! WTF?
มุมมอง 418 หลายเดือนก่อน
Cable companies?! I’ve never wanted to scream it from the rooftops like I have this week. Multiple calls from buyers working with other lenders feeling like they are shopping for cable. 🤯 Not ok, in the slightest. Home purchases are some of the largest financial moves a person makes and should be treated as such. My team and I would ❤️ the opportunity to change anyone’s opinion of that. As a bu...

I have a $300k mortgage at 2.8% which is tax deductible. I also have $300k in investment account getting 5% yield from dividends
What are your thoughts on 7 or 10 year ARMs for first time home buyers who know for sure this home is not going to be their forever home? Benefit that we like is that the Rates are lower with ARMs giving us the advantage of getting pre approved for a higher purchase price. But definitely see ourselves out of the home in 5-7 years..
Hello, Robia ~ I'm so sorry for my delay, I didn't get any notifications. My personal opinion is that if you don't know or understand an ARM, you should really look to a fixed rate, especially if you plan to be in the home for some time, which it sounds like you may. The ARM rates, do adjust when the lock term expires. If you find yourself wanting to possibly live in the home when that time comes, there's nothing worse than having to pay another set of closing costs to lock in at a potentially higher rate. It's only fun to pay closing costs when refinancing if you are getting a better rate and savings thousands of dollars! Hope that helps!
I agree with a few points here like you definitely should have a well stack savings account before paying off a home. But I’m Not sure what tax year you’re living in but mortgage interest doesn’t hardly benefit anyone anymore because the the standard deduction increased every since Trump got into office. Most people don’t even have to itemize anymore so you’re providing misinformation by telling them they can save money on taxes cuz of their mortgage interest. Also if most of us were still itemizing, how is wise to save a thousand on two in taxes vs saving several thousands of interest by getting rid of a mortgage 🤔 ?
Hello! I am living in this tax year and there are still a lot of people that are able to utilize these deductions, so not misinformation, just maybe not relevant to you. Please note that I am speaking broadly on these videos and would always advise any and everyone to consult with a CPA for their own personal write offs and savings.
Would you suggest I pay off my mortgage in full now or hold onto this money? These times are weird so I really don't know. I already paid off all of my other debt
Hello! My personal opinion is to hold onto the mortgage if you have a really low rate and save the rest. I'm not a CPA or Financial Planner, but with rates this low, it makes it hard to consider an early payoff :) You can always prepay a little each month to get both interest savings on your current loan while saving the rest of the funds in a savings/checking account or an investment account ~ best of both worlds!
@@KristenAmbos thank you. My gut is telling me to hold onto it and wait. Thank you for your opinion
@@kalijustice4918 always follow your gut ;)
Great point..this is why both parties need to keep improving their credit so both of their median scores continue to improve..great information as always!
Math is math. Problem is, nobody actually invests that difference. Damn the torpedoes. Be debt free. Be weird. Be free. Don’t be a slave to your job or your location.
Pay off your home so if anything happens you've secured a place to live .

It depends on how much discretionary income you have. If you can invest in and max 401K/IRA and pay additional principle payments too go right ahead
One of the most popular arguments. Friends who where remarried with 2 new step children telling me how to utilize money. Buying property or maxing out the 401k , keeping a vehicle for 12 years paid in cash verse a new one every 3 years. A steak on the bar-b-gue vs a fancy restaurant. Epic vacations, than those same experts worried about a couple extra hundred a month towards paying down a morgage.
No, it’s leveraged debt. Invest the money instead in good tech stocks.
Nice work pal! You should use promosm!! ! I used it on my main channel to help my videos get more views!!
