A Wall That Brings People Together
มุมมอง 2255 ปีที่แล้ว
The Löcknitz school in Berlin has been building a wall since 1994. The result is an indelible lesson for students and a powerful memorial for everyone who see it.
The Joseph Group
มุมมอง 3135 ปีที่แล้ว
When they were in high school in Berlin, some students went on a field trip and met a holocaust survivor named Rolf Joseph who would change their lives. They found his story so compelling that they began meeting with him every month or so, a process that lead them to write a book about him for other high school students. It sold really well. After Rolf Joseph died, they decided to use the money...
Harald Roth and Volker Mall
มุมมอง 1225 ปีที่แล้ว
Two German high school teachers, Volker Mall and Harald Roth, discovered a concentration camp that had been erased from their region’s memories. Families of those who died there had no idea what happened to their relatives. Despite active opposition, the men exhaustively proved what the place was. More importantly, they gave names to everyone there, the dead and the survivors, and showed what h...

For more than four decades the Leipziger Synagogalchor (Leipzig Syna-gogue Choir) has been bringing Germany’s Jewish musical tradition back to life. Composed entirely of non-Jews, the choir sings internationally as a way to increase intercultural understanding. They were the first German non-Jewish choir to sing at the synagogue of Yad Vashem in Israel, an event that required vote of the Israel...

What if the 3 children didn't like marshmallow and didn't eat them 😅
Kya bakwas hai
אדאנק אייך אלע.
I can't believe no one has posted a comment in the almost 6 years this gorgeous rendition of Kinder Yorn has been on TH-cam. I played this for my Yiddish Club today (on Zoom). It took our breath away. The arrangement fits the lyrics perfectly. A sheynem dank (=thank you very much) to all of these wonderful singers who, not Jewish themselves, are helping carry on Jewish musical traditions.
The good news is that Self Management could be taught!
Does anybody know the name of the study/source that I can access? Mentioned at 2:24 - thank you!
You explain too god
Value a second watch, it is very well explained
Self man talk don't hear it back to yourself to unconcepted in concentraion

Distract/shift att
Great job bro😇
Thanks!
my favorite part of the video was how they were able to use the marshmallow to see how far the kids got in there self managementskills and life skills
Prince
What to say....
My favorite part of the video is correlating self management with different time periods and different age groups.
not at how, half of my class would be watching this rn🗿
I like the part of the video that explains useful strategies and ideas that adults can use to help students before taking any test so they can make a good decision on what they will be.
My favorite part of the video was when he mentioned that you shouldn’t tell them to stop because it won’t help them it’ll just stress them out even more. He ended up giving an example on how you can help that person out.
My favorite part of the video is that kids that started out with self management brought better results then the kids that did not have self management.
My favorite part of the video was about how a simple test of a marshmallow was able to pin-point certain date that dealt with people having self-management skills at an early age compare to other kids and how it was able impact there life later on.

Great learning experience helped a lot
Very very well explained
Nice explanation, but somewhere there is many problems to understand it
Had Invaluable info!
Great video. Which platform did you use to produce the video
Thanks for the video
You're welcome!
amazing video
In another experiment, they found those 1/3 children who didn't eat the marshmallow, just didn't like them as much as the other kids... ... just kidding, but what about that ? I remember I was not a fan of these sweets, they looked so artificial to me !
Hi SCCP (sorry for using your acronym), I'm with you. I think plain marshmallows are kind of yucky. But as it turns out the experiment has been replicated with almost any kind of dessert you can imagine (and probably plenty of things that are attractive to kids to eat but that aren't desserts). The results have generally been consistent and repeatable. Hope that helps!
I wonder why this channel has so less numbers of subscribers. this is the best video i found for self mgt HONESTLY!!!
Thanks Summaya! I couldn't agree with you more. ;-)
And I subscribed it
I cannot hear the video. Would love too, but it is not coming through.
Hi Rachael. Sorry to hear that! Are you able to play other TH-cam videos with sound? I've tested the piece out on multiple browsers and machines...no problems with hearing the audio.
