Sunday AM (12/2925) "Misunderstanding"
Often, conflict does not arise from intentional aggression or insult, but from a misunderstanding between two people. What can mitigate conflict? A desire to seek peace and understanding is a great place to start. We see an example of this in 2 Samuel 10 when David's intentions are misunderstood by Hanun king of Ammon. Listen as we talk about the importance of seeking after peace.

Christmas is much more than a festive time of year, ready to celebrate with friends and family. It is a part of the story God is telling about the redemption of mankind. We might call it a "Theology of Christmas," and it's found in part in Galatians 4:4. Listen as Pastor Hawn grounds our Christmas celebration in who God is and what He is doing.

Throughout Scripture, a message emerges: He is Coming! From the very beginning in the garden to the fighting Maccabees, the message was: "The Messiah is Coming!" What relief when the Saviour was announced in a Bethlehem manger. Now, we as Christians say with them: "He's Coming!"

We examine this story and the accompanying psalm to talk about what life in "The Cave" is like. What do we do when we feel abandoned, alone, and in danger? The Word of God has the answer.
