Dusted off the box of VHS's and audio cassettes from the 80's and 90's and through the marvels of modern technology and via the medium of Jack Daniels I've somehow managed to get rare(ish) comedy shows and miscellaneous weird stuff I recorded for reasons unknown at the time on to this internet site that seems to have a few others with the same idea.

We loved Phil Cool One Great Entertainer?
Lenny Henry just was never funny, no matter what he was in.
I cannot believe it's 30 years ago when I saw live at The White Rock Theatre in Hastings
The actress at 21:09 was Diana Dors. Her cousin was our music teacher at school - these days he would be on the register too…
this is great
Good lord, this is dire.
Sean Lock was a genius. His death really was a loss. To me his comedy made him a national treasure . 15 Stories high is a must see.
First time seeing this. Absolutely brilliant, cunning, searingly-seriously funny!🤭🥰💕💚
Lenny Henry just the most untalented, unfunny individual out there. Staggered by his success.
remember.... no one loves a grass
Nice to see Tracey Ullman before the crudely drawn filler material.
LOL great compilation! I vaguely remember Three of a Kind but I was only 7 at the time so this is really the first time I'm watching it and I love it. Just up my street, I love 80s comedy. All three performers are extremely talented but Tracey really stands out, she's superb! 4:21 is the best bit! LOL
i’ve been on a merton binge and watching everything he’s been in. so funny. thanks for uploading <3
Love Merton
This is a story about the Chinese meal. He says Bernard Manning not benny Hill. jasper told in the UK. I think it's from his 24 Carrott gold show about 1990.
David Copperfield was clearly the funny one, but the least successful. A damn shame.
David certainly came across as a more seasoned and skilled comedy performer than Lenny, at that stage of their careers. But Tracey outshone them both in my opinion. She is supremely talented and oozes star quality!
@@Scripture-Man I certainly appreciated and can clearly see her comic ability, but I can't say she's ever made me laugh.
I saw perform his comedy show In Dublin. Brilliant Brilliant Brilliant
Merton was alright on HIGNFY (hav'nt watched HIGNFY since it took a sharp left-wing turn about ten years ago). This was painful, only lasted about five minutes.
Darling, I think you’ll find it’s you.
You a Savile supporter? @@lizziebkennedy7505
An yet somehow the show continues on without you........funny that. lol
@@bob23301 Funny how a show that is funded by a licence that is forced upon everyone who watches live TV is able to still be on air.
@@brelshar4968 And even more funny without your viewership.......but suppose they will just have to somehow muster on without you. lol
Is it a dolphin in a bathtub?
haha! reference!!
Script could do with jokes
god this sucks...
What a load of crap. Supposed to be satire, but lacks originality and wit. It's like it's written by a teenager who's furiously masturbating at the same time. Utter shite.
The cutting edge BBC Micro titles!
LOL
I bought this tape in Woolworths back in 1989 ..ive still got it somewhere 😂
Finally got the episode with my two favorite things in it 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Very good
Tracey Ullman AND Lenny Henry? Why have I never heard of this? I grew up on British TV in Canada.
This really does bring back some happy fond memories of my younger teenage days, classic comedy at its best, they all went to have successful careers, i do believe.....
Except David Copperfield.
That devious smile on Tracey's face at 53:20 as she builds up to saying the longest train station name in the world ... priceless ...
Tracey is superb! Shame she doesn't pronounce the Welsh "Ll" properly, she does more of a "ch" sound.
I think she’s talking out of her bum bum
A bit pathetic this - Jasper is / was much better than this crap!!!
Nude Hugh was so popular in Bristol that Steve had to drop one of his punchlines 🤣
dreadful never liked Tracey ulman or Lenny Henry and now I know why!just awful
The sketch about identification is way ahead of it's time considering the two factor authentification which we have to go through today
The last waltz with a genius
This is painful to watch, the poor man's a shadow of himself.
Great that Vranch proved he was more than just the pianist on Whose Line.
Brilliant! I remembered the Robocop bit all these years, but never knew the name of the show. Thanks for uploading.
First time Ive been able to bear hearing Seanie since he died. Miss his amazing talent.
Thank you, thank you, thank you! Been looking for this for years!
Me too! I though this was a lost memory.
I was starting to think i imagined this whole show. Finally I can show people why I'm afraid of washing machines
I well remember this programme but it isn't heard of these days as no-one talks about it. Here I was fourteen!
Yeah, I remember it, too. A springboard for Ullman and Henry, but not so much the other guy. I was 10 when first came on.
As a fan of Absolutely and JD's work in general, bloody hell that was awful. :-) Thanks for posting.
I thought it was OK, I've seen worse starts to a sitcom for sure, toning down the character so much from the sketches does take a lot of the fun out of it though.
T gs 83 🤣t c l c
This is pretty funny, & it’s cool to see Tracey Ullman in her youth ❤️❣️
Does anyone remember, this used to be on Comedy Central in the uk and there was some other thing about looking at the nations of the world. One episode was about France and French home alone. I have never been able to find the name of the show
Ellyn Stern? Richard Epcar's wife was in this?
Damn man Used to love this show growing up😂😂
The pub landlord looks like a glass collector.
