I have read about him and quotes of things he said. He spoke very much like a cult leader and misinterpreted scripture.. Richard Spurling Jr. and the Church of God should have never appointed him overseer and in the end they saw his true colors and is why he was removed. He then went on to start the church of God of prophecy.

I cannot thank God enough for what this man meant to my life, growing up, though I was lost. Yet, in my life, this man was special, and I had several other men of God, around me, yet he was special. His words to me, down through my early life, personally, his life, his ministry, his singing for the Lord, made an indelible imprint on my life. now, at my age of 77 yrs old, to hear his voice, see his preaching, to be myself now, a preacher, It is a marvel to my soul, what his ministry, still means to me. He has gone on to glory, but he is still alive in my soul, I remember the first time I say him and his family, that would mean so much to me, I was a child of 12 yrs old. From that time, his family, especially Harold, became of top priority, and top in specialness, to me. So I just want to say for whoever will care to read this, that Bishop Harper Hunter, his family, and his ministry, still guide me, and is inextricably a part of me, a part of the reason, that I am who and what I am as a child of God. I thank God for Brother Hunter, more than words can say.
