Welcome to my channel my name is Patrick Close AKA (The Closer) The year was 1991, I was in 5th grade, can’t remember why the reason was but I was taken out of school by my sister and we ended up at her friends business which was…yep you guessed it a billiards hall, (PLAYERS CHOICE) That’s where it all started, it's also when I received my 1st piece of advice and one of the best ones yet to date, I was hitting balls while standing on a chair and caught the attention of a shooter who came up to me and said hey kid… You wanna learn how to shoot? Picks up the cue ball places it in my hand and tells me to learn how to control the cue ball and everything else will follow, my dream and goal is to be able to play with the best! The videos I put up are in real time situations whether it's a practice game or league. I rarely set up trick shots, I am more of an improv guy, what can you do on the spot with your only chance. I appreciate your support and thank you for watching!
9 Ball Break & Run Unique Bridge Hand 3 9 24
Continuing to work with alternate bridge. This 9 ball run was pretty smooth due to the cue control and being pretty much center table for each shot, even after the break. I am finding out that I can set up much faster and still be accurate and controled as demonstrated at the end of the video.

Unique Bridge Hand Break & Run
มุมมอง 13K2 หลายเดือนก่อน
I discovered a different approach on my bridge hand, its the same hold technique used for most masse shots. This hold also eliminates the use for a bridge stick in most situations. It looks award and as of right now it feels award but seems to be very accurate. I used this hold in league play (3_4_24) 9-Ball and was successful in winning 17-3 and recording a break in run.
Safety Wins The Rack and Leads To Break & Run Next Rack

After Breaking and making a ball, my 1st shot was not executed as planed, I played for the break out on the 3 and fell short leaving a safety as the best option and it payed off leading to run the rest of the rack and the next one as well.
8 Ball BR 1 31 24

Smooth break on this rack leaves the cue ball center table, the best place to be after a break with most odds for a run out.

I just had to subscribe. Great video Patrick 🙂👍
Well done!
Thank you!!
Absolutely amazing english, stance, and cue ball placement! I play recreationally, but I'm not even close to your level. I'll chat with you more now that I'm following you on MF Crew.
Thank you for watching K.P.! Looking forward to talking and chating about pool with you.
@@Billards-TheCloser- I advanced my skills in English and cue ball placement by playing "three ball". Me and my friends, middle high school had just racked up three balls and counted how many strokes to get all three balls in.
Here from the MJF crew on your invite..... great job! Looking forward to the next. I liked the "Siegel St" sign shot; not sure if there is a Philly significance to the street, but It made me think of Bugsy Siegel, and it adds an element of history to the story.
Thanks Ron, That is one way to look at the Siegel st sign, never thought of it like that. l film it becuase l have a few childhood memories on the st. l always herd it pronouced 2 different ways as well, the way you mentioned it like Busgy Siegel then others would say it sounding like Sigel. Thanks for watching my friend! Glad you liked it!
I never thought of Bugsy, I always thought of Beanie
@@chrishett99 Really? It's funny, Beanie was probably thinking about Bugsy.
@@ronr7905 I agree 1000%. In Philly, we don't do the gang thing, we all rep our block, thats why his name is what it is.
Cool shit man
This is fantasic.
This is good
