Thank you! You can totally do this for kindergarten! For example if you are doing numeration you can say “Draw a picture that shows 4” or “we talked about numbers today. Draw dots for the number 3” Some other ideas “what shape did we learn today, draw it on your sticky note” “Draw something bigger than your hand” “What number comes after 6? Write or draw it” So many ideas ☺️ Sometimes I also like to use it to reinforce a rule that I see they aren’t following real well. You could say draw a picture of how we should look and sound at math stations. Last but not least I would love for you to be my student!! lol 😂❤️

To plan effective lessons for first graders, start by understanding your students' current levels, such as conducting a simple pre-assessment on counting skills, and set clear objectives, like counting to 100 by the end of the lesson. Structure your lessons with an engaging introduction (e.g., a counting song), clear main content (e.g., using manipulatives like blocks for counting activities), and a conclusive summary (e.g., a group counting activity). Prepare materials in advance, such as counting charts and number cards. Differentiate instruction by providing varied activities, like simpler counting tasks for some and more complex patterns for advanced students. Incorporate assessments by asking questions throughout and having a fun counting quiz at the end. I bought these double sided foamy things at dollar tree. The frames were also from dollar tree. Since it’s cheap I knew it would be light weight and didn’t have to worry so much about it falling. Lol
