A great display seen from the hill adjacent to the Chateau. Most people gather on the banks of the River Loire or on the adjacent bridge to watch the display. Much the best place is the grassy slope by the Chateau which gives a birds-eye-view of the magnificent display.

The 'Cape Epee' is an annual event celebrating medieval times in this lovely area of France. Richelieu named after its famous founder, Cardinal Richelieu. Much of the event takes place in the Park of his, now demolished, chateau.
