Does it come with the spark arrestor?

I just picked up my brand new KLR today. I went straight to the Happy Trails website and pretty much EVERYTHING that I want is OUT OF STOCK. I really want to go with HTP, but I may have to look at other brands.

I currently have the HTP. Highway pegs screwed into my bars. Does anybody make an inch wider pegs??

I agree both my Klr has all there products. They have met and exceeded my expectation. The monster bash plate covering my oil pan has had some good knocks and has yet to even chip the paint. Yeah the crash bars have some scratches and a few dings but that's riding :)). proly only thing i have yet to get is the nerf bags soon i think tho.

I just installed this on my 2023 Klr and from some reason my bike started giving me start up problems smh am I the only one

How do you know how big to cut the spacer??

Upper bolts that I’m reusing, the ones that share the light bar mount, are too short when adding the upper crash bar. Was I supposed to get longer bolts in my kit? Or is there a few models out there with shorter bolts up there? Bike is now out of commission because I can’t tighten down the crash bars.

What about the gasket where it mid pipe clamps to the bike? You really can’t get the old one out without the possibility of destroying it.

Looks like you have the adventure model? I am guessing it has longer bolts that hold the "light bar" on? I have a non adventure model and the stock upper bolts do not engage even half the threads on the weld nut when the bars are added and would no doubt strip or come loose if not replaced with at least a 1/2" longer bolt and definitely would fail on even a light drop. Maybe I missed something when ordering but did not notice them in the packaging, or parts list. instructions seem to note the factory ones to be "set aside and re use" in "step 1". Also would like to just let anyone know, if you are installing this on an ABS equipped bike; on the throttle side where the rear "u mount" is supposed to go around the frame it is a very tight fit between the ABS plug, the throttle cable tubes and the upper frame gusset weld. I had to really force the aluminum backer to get it to fit and needed to force the ABS cable back a bit.

Just an FYI. The HT lower crash bars are NOT compatible with the S W Motech skid plate

The kit says 2008 or newer. I assume thats the kit going into this 2022 right?

Will this stand work with hard mounted foot pegs? Additionally not shown would I assume rubber grommets on the inside need removed and inserts on outside can remain in place?

Does this system permanently remove the passenger peg on the left side or did you just not show it being reinstalled? On the Happy trails website there's a picture of this product installed with hard cases and the passenger peg on the left side installed so I am confused.

I got my rack and i love it. Except not all the hardware was included. Even in your video you don't include the bolts to attach the rear bumper. Or the heat shield. And in the video, you don't show where the spacers go.

Nice build ! Do you have any reviews showing this layout + top rear box ? On any bike ? I own an 2008 Vstrom 650 & the prior owner has the same boxes of yours (black) to sell me. I would then order a matching top rear box from you. Any pics / video of all 3 together would be appreciated !

I just received my LV from you guys and reviewed this as a refresher. Next time if you mention the socket/wrench sizing would be a nice touch.

FYI for those who were asking. I installed this on my 2023 KLR650s model. It worked great on lowest setting. It was easy to lift up on center stand. No issues with kickstand. It bolted right on with the longer supplied bolts.

Do you know whether the 50c can record phone conversations between motorcyclists while recording video? I've not seen any reviews mentioning this. To me that would be a big plus since not all motorcyclists are going to have MESH and there might be times you would be out of range of MESH when recording video and conversations.

Were all the stock cables long enough with the 2” riser and the pro taper bar install? I want to install the same setup on my ‘23 adventure.

I would also like to know if it is compatible with the 650 S model?

The new bars are great. Only complaint, and rather disappointing is not being able to use the stock Kawasaki lower engine guards with your upper guards...

Only partially helpful - not mounted on the bike so we can't see how it interacts with / sits relative to your side Denali boxes, which was my main question. I'm buying a V-Strom with your narrow Denali boxes (had been on but owner removed) & was hoping to see what top rear case options existed from you.

Nice. I think I’ll add the pegs, too, if they fold out of the way enough for offroad.

I like that they fit my Adventure lowers, and I’ll get your skid plate, too, if it fits the lowers. i just need a black finish.

Since it boils down to weight to horsepower ratio, my questions about performance prooducts are: how much weight does it shave off? How much horsepower (if any) does it add? If there is no big performance benefit, I’d rather spend that money on your upper crash bar and/or skid plate.

I’m going with you guys for the upper crash bars, which fit with the existing Adventure lower guards, and your skid plate, if it fits the Adventure lower like the Kawie 339 skid plate does.

Which is more comfortable, the rally or the dual platform? Doesn't the Dual Platform lower the actually seat height a bit? thanks!

So glad I found an upper that lets me keep my OEM lower. Does your skid plate work wit the OEM lower?
