Loading the 100ft. pack on our pumpers. The KME pumpers have wide trays and the load will lay flat (horizontal). The Toyne pumper has a tall, narrow tray and the load will lay upright (vertical). You can pull the load from either side of the truck.

This video demonstrates how to build the last 100 feet of the Cleveland load. This build applies to 150ft. and 200ft. 1.75" speedlays on our pumpers as well as our 100ft. 1.75" high rise packs. It is critical that you build it using the provided jig to ensure that it fits in the speedlay tray and deploys properly.

I'm the CBRN NCOIC from my unit in the Army and I need to trained my personnel for the equipment. My question is whete did you get gamma source to make the alarm go off ?

What is the application for a tripod? You said lowering into a hole. When does a firefighter have to go in a hole?

@@cameronsmith6566 Can you give me an example when a tripod would be used because the only thing I can think of is pulling someone out of a manhole.
Manhole, sink holes, etc. If Captain Ringering was still with us Id say ask him, hes the one teaching this and knew more than I do
@@cameronsmith6566 Can you give me an example of the etcetera part? I swear I'm not trying to be a dick but I just can't think of the application. I can understand the confined space part, but I wouldn't use this to pull someone out of a car, collapsed building, or even a cliff. To use this would mean that someone has fallen into a hole that goes straight down, and there is enough secure ground around this hole to set up a tripod. I can't think of the application. I could see this system being used more in construction for moving equipment and stuff.

One lesser known tip is that you can turn on the click per event mode by holding down the rate button for a couple seconds. It will then make a little blip every time it counts a gamma event (like a traditional geiger counter does). Vintage/antique clocks make an easy to find gamma test source (Radium painted dials). Wash hands with soap after handling old clocks due to surface contamination from Radon secondaries.

Your ETCO2 does NOT need O2 flowing for a reading. We do ETCO2 without supplemental all the time when we give narcs
Have you tried any of these with the lithium aaa batteries? They seem to have a much longer shelflife
