On July 15, 1985, ABC Daytime premiered the daytime era version of THE ALL-NEW TIC TAC DOUGH emceed by Linda Gray (Sue Ellen Ewing of CBS-TV's "Dallas") and announcer Jack Clark. Just like the syndicated version of TIC TAC DOUGH with Wink Martindale/Jim Caldwell, this daytime version game show gave good ratings for the 10:00AM spot to compete with other networks in daytime against reruns of "The Facts of Life" (NBC), and THE $25,000 PYRAMID (CBS).

I needed some laughs and remembered this show was on youtube from before. I saved the playlist and plan on watching it until i go to sleep tonight. I remember watching this as a pre teenager and some of it went over my head. I can't remember if my parents knew or not. But I know I saw some Benny hill at night with dad so probably so. Love american style, hollywood squares. Man I really miss the old times. This world I can't even imagine in 25 years, glad I won't be here to see it. Thanks for the list, I know I will have a lot of giggles and laughs watching the episodes.

That is just awful especially with the doubles being a loss - thankfully they did change that rule to a push and busts occurred less often, but it still hurts especially when the odds of losing for the most part are way against you.

When it comes to the Money Cards; Be very Careful on what you CALL; You can win a bundle, or LOSE IT ALL!!!

The 1985-1989 run was taped at Sunset-Gower Studios. Eubanks really loved seeing Betty White, especially when she was doing "The Golden Girls" there.

Jim in one segment looked behind the cards post mortem and just said they were middle cards. First time I saw him do that.

It's too bad you can hardly get any of these 70's versions of TNG from TH-cam, or anywhere else for that matter. I'm suspecting the couples back in these days don't want to have themselves posted on TH-cam, in other words... "COPYRIGHT". Also, the "gifts" and "products" during the 30-second intermission. That's too bad. I was also hoping BUZZR was gonna show the 70's version, but guess not. 70's version of TNG is all I wanna see, nothing more. The newer ones suck.
