It’s just california State where houses are this expensive . Buts it’s less on crime and best weather so that’s the cost you pay for staying here . 🙏🙏

Yeah , that’s a great idea we have started doing that for short trips but sometimes gets tricky when going on long drives. But yeah hopefully this will make things a bit better 😊

That sounds exactly like our experience too! When we traveled, they mentioned they wouldn’t provide a specific meal for our little one but would offer “baby food”-mainly applesauce and squeeze pouches, which didn’t end up being our son’s favorite. Thankfully, they did have fresh fruit, and the staff was so friendly and accommodating. We prepared by bringing Gerber cereal, apples, formula, and a variety of snacks, like baby teething puffs, cookies, and frozen yogurt-things we don’t typically give him but packed just in case. For a long flight, it’s better to have these options on hand. The crew was also very supportive and happy to give us warm water for his instant cereal whenever needed. Plus, you can share your meal with your little one; our son loved the desserts and fruits they offered! Overall, it will go well-just come prepared with a few snacks, engaging toys, and stickers (a lifesaver for us!). Hope you have an amazing journey, and we’d love to hear how it goes! Safe travels!

We totally understand where you're coming from! We didn’t book a seat for our son either, mainly because we wanted to avoid the hassle of carrying a car seat. But yes, that was the first and last time we tried it! After age 2, Emirates requires each child to have a dedicated seat, and bringing a car seat becomes necessary. An alternative to the car seat is a harness that you can find on Amazon (amzn.to/3Z13VBn). When we spoke to the Emirates staff, they mentioned it’s allowed, but policies can change, so it’s a good idea to double-check with them before you go. I totally get how you’re feeling-we were in the same boat last year. But trust me, it’s not as stressful as it might seem right now. Other than that, everything else was smooth, and we look back on that trip as one of our best memories. Emirates even made it extra special by taking photos of families traveling with kids-such a thoughtful touch to capture a memorable journey! We got it from Costco and we were there at costco last week and we saw those jackets were there not sure which city you are in but those jackets are amazing and really affordable . If i remember it correctly it was like $10 - $12 max . Great gift option i got it for my mother in law and her sisters and they loved it .

Thanks for the suggestion! Ladera Ranch does sound like a great option, especially with the strong school district and the HOA organizing activities for kids-a big plus for us with Ivaan. We hadn’t been considering it since there aren’t any new constructions, and the homes are a bit older, but I didn’t realize remodeling was an option. We’ll definitely look into it, especially since remodeling without HOA restrictions is appealing. I also heard that State Farm, one of the largest home insurance providers, has stopped offering home insurance in California, and the companies that do offer it charge a high premium, so we’ll keep that in mind as well.

Here’s what we experienced: Emirates did allow us to use the microwave onboard for warming up food, though we didn’t need to use a refrigerator, so I can’t confirm if that’s an option. We traveled with baby formula instead of cow’s milk, as it’s easier to carry and doesn’t spoil as quickly-something to consider since you'll likely be at the airport for a while before boarding, and any layovers could further affect food or milk. As an alternative idea, if you prefer carrying cow’s milk, you might consider bringing a thermos to keep it at a safe temperature for as long as possible. And for homemade food, packing items that stay fresh longer or don’t require refrigeration can help. Safe travels, and I hope you have a smooth experience with Emirates!

Emirates mein toh paka free hai .. But I believe its free in all other flights as well. Infact India mein we travelled domestic with indigo and uspe bhi free tha.

We usually get to enjoy that only once every few months. When we do, we make sure to capture it on video! Most of the time, we stick to our usual home-cooked meals, which we absolutely love. But yes, we also enjoy trying new foods whenever we're out.

At daycare, the staff were very sweet and said he looked adorable with his new haircut. Regarding the tiffin, yes, they do provide some food /Snacks twice a day . So in case child drops their tiffin or doesn’t have enough to eat he gets something to eat, which is a relief. He is still learning to eat on his own and dropping of the tiffin is very often (Hopefully this gets better soon ) ..
