Remarkable performance! Greatly intrigued by Stephen's musical background and virtuosity - I must listen to more of his recordings.

Much preferred to either of John Browning's recordings. He never seemed to understand what to do with the recurring 3-note motif in the first movement. If you were following along with the score, it was maddening to hear him emphasize the 1st, rather than the 2nd, note. By the time his 2nd recording appeared, I had hoped that after many years he would've corrected it. No such luck. Stephen Prutsman, on the other hand, makes musical sense of said motif, and the entire concerto is delivered with considerable aplomb. I've waited several years for a recorded performance of this stature to come about, and this interpretation leaves nothing to be desired.

This is amazing, by far a fantastic interpretation on one of the most (if not the most) symbolic works of Genesis.

I played piano for decades, just for fun, my best results were Trilogy and Take a pebble (ELP), Cinema show and Apocalypse in 9/8 (and something else but here doesn't matter). With Supper's I tried several times to play it without sing (with a terrible voice!) but without ... what I'm hearing here! I thought it wasn't possible for just one, and there it is! Beautiful! 😍😍😍😍😍

4/4 over 9/8 solo?!?!!? WOW!!!

Highly impressive, especially how you manage to cover all the parts, even drums (I often think 'classical' arrangements fail when they bring a drumkit in, instead of letting available instruments cover the drum parts). Love how you cover the keyboard too, and you're not afraid to cover the vocals in the tenor/baritone range when so many would just play the melody with the right hand in the treble range.

Soon as I saw the pic of Che Guevara on the wall I turned him off. How could a “seemingly intelligent” man be so ignorant of the murderous executioner. Idk.

This arrangement is just so amazingly beautiful. It's just a demonstration of the power of the piano and its player. So much of the song was incorporated, with just one instrument. One person. Just amazing. That the piano took so long to catch on when it was first built is shocking. ;) (it was its size, no one wanted to transport one back then)

What he's playing here tells me Patrick Moraz never should have been let go from Yes, He was a combo of the best of Tony Kaye and Rick Wakeman, with Jazz in his heart. Phenomenal keyboardist, Steve Howe actually integrated with him (which he does not do with Wakeman, they're mostly off in their own worlds, and Howe will overdub a guitar part he can't play live rather than work something out with Wakeman) and Relayer is just a work Yes should be as proud of as Close to the Edge, because it's just as good. Amazing playing by Stephen Prutsman, made me appreciate the song even more.
