มุมมอง 3.6K4 หลายเดือนก่อน
Getting to spend two weeks with my best friends driving across Colorado, and making some of the best memories I've ever had was a once in a lifetime experience that I'll never forget. If there's one piece of advice that I think is the most important, it would be to spend your time doing things that make you feel happy and fulfilled. If you can manage to do that you'll be ahead of most others, I...

Love it. Great Road Trip Film. This showed up on my YT feed. I wanna recommend a YT video for all of you to watch together. TH-cam > Simon Kim > Project West - a film about friendship. I think its like 45 minutes long and they go to all kinda National Parks. Hope you watch & enjoy it together guys.👍✌
Just watch some of your recent videos and I’m already obsessed, you definitely just got yourself a new die hard subscriber
@@VictoriaGranath thank you Victoria! I really appreciate it, hopefully I can continue to make things you enjoy :)

Thank you! I appreciate it :)
love this! Hope your still playing drums 3 years since this now!
this was so fun to watch!! great vid! also, great necklace ;))
What camera do you use to film your videos? I love the aesthetic.
Thanks! I currently use the A6700 :)
The color grading is so soothing❤ Any tips on how to achieve such colors?
Thank you! There’s a couple things you can do regardless of the camera you have, I would recommend trying a promist bloom filter, also try over exposing slightly so the highlights are brighter, and use a film emulation lut, I use one with Rec 709 built in!
Pure Genius.
Hey Ethan, I love your video, and yes, I am very inspired to keep documenting my trips, I got some great tips from this video and am inspired by the shots and angles you filmed, Thank you. looking forward to more. 😊
Hey Linda, thank you so much! I appreciate the engagement more than you know. I’m glad I could help you feel inspired, that’s always the end goal!
Looks like a very fun trip. That pine cone was huge! I agree, documenting trips is fun and enjoyable to look back on. I view my YT as a personal journal in some ways.
Rightt! Yeah it really is, that’s an awesome way to look at it man. Keep it up
It’s amazing view ❤❤. You are the best sharing this awesome experience.
Thanks man!
Bro I’m with you on this, new sub 🤝
such a vibe
can you tell what is your camera setup ? would help me to start as well ... or help me recommending one !
Yeah of course, my camera is currently the Sony A6700 with the Tamron 17-70 f2.8, it’s a great travel setup but it’s a little pricey for beginning, a great alternative would be a used Sony A7III with a zoom lens, it’s an older but amazing Sony camera
Did you color grade this or is this shot in standard color profile?
@@mauiaguirre it was shot in a raw rec 709 profile and yup I had to color grade it with a lut that had rec 709 conversion built in, something that helped get a more light dreamy feel was using a pro mist filter and slightly over exposing the highlights!!
@@ethan_holmes ahhh awesome stuff man. Do you mind suggesting some cool luts and where to get em?? Also when you say raw, do you mean shooting in Log profile? Sorry ive never shot in Raw before. Only in Log and standard profile. I didn’t know you could shoot standard profile AND raw
@@mauiaguirre I personally like the Vincent films luts, you can find them online but they do cost a bit. Yup, in the settings you would be shooting in S-Log3 for most Sony cameras. That’s the raw file format, and then in post the color profile is Rec 709!
i absolutely love this! you genuinely captured the natural beauty of california really well.
these shots are beautiful!! loved the video and the photo wall looks great!!
thank you so much! :)
