I installed a Showchrome seat backrest on my 2023 canam spyder f3-t. This was the final step in tailoring my bike to fit me. I pulled the peg position back to position 1 so I can reach, installed mini floor boards for stability, installed a taller, tinted windshield, installed handle bar riser to bring my handle bars closer to me, and finally added this backrest!

Tailoring your new bike to fit you is the first and most important step to take! When you purchase a brand new can-am Spyder F3, the peg position is in position 3, the center. Nice video! I just did this on my Spyder F3L! I’m short also, so I went with the same short brake rod. So much better, only drawback for me is the brake pedal is to high. So I will get the adjustable rod, or shorten my old rod so I won’t have to lift my foot off the floorboard to use the brake! I also got and installed the complete RLS Cat delete and Crusher exhaust and it is AWESOME. Sounds great, and took just under 20 lbs. off the bike. Also installed the Baja Ron sway bar again incredible handling. So much better than stock! Night and day difference!! I’ll subscribe to your channel. You may want to check mine out if you have any interest in Guitars and Music. I hope to start a new channel for the Spyder, maybe Ride Safe and have a Ball!💥👍
Hi, and congratulations on your new Spyder! I recently sold my 2018 Spyder RT Limited that I bought new. I am considering the F3T due to the way it fits me-the seat, foot pegs and handlebars. (No adjustments on the RTL). Looking forward to how you make your new Spyder ‘yours’ and your riding impressions.
Thank you! I love my F3T! I moved the pegs back, installed handle bar risers to bring them closer to me, and now I can sit back in the seat and be comfortable rather than sit on the gas tank! Very customizable. I just posted the video about the pegs and how I moved them closer. Thanks for watching my video and commenting!
