How do you recommend you get it off if it was installed upside down ?
You can gently pry it off with a flathead screwdriver. I've had to do it, and it comes off pretty easily. Just work your way around the outside with a flathead screwdriver and try not to pry too hard into the acrylic. It should come off
Heater won't work if the freeze is because of power outage.
This is true, but if your power fails, you have days before major damage occurs. If your power is out for a week in -40, you have bigger problems than your hot tub. Some folks have generators too.
So what is the price for the most expensive hot tub in Manitoba?
$20,000 USD when I bought mine 3 years ago
No weekly chemical shock?
Yes you absolutely need to shock it. These are tips for the Self-Clean system, not water chemistry in general.
Std, plus or select. Which one to buy
Is the shell color the new for 2024 Cosmic Swirl?
Yeah, this is the Cosmic Swirl, brand new for 2024. It's really grown on me
Have you filled this with water ? I am curious if the lights reflect underwater as spectacular as the silver marble or white tubs?
How is the panels on sunlight? Will it fade over time?
Nearly everything fades over time but the lighter colours seem to hold up well. The M Series is only a few years old but so far, so good
I have this M9 2022 model. We absolutely love it. I sit in it at least 3 times a week. I have a technical question. This evening i was going to get in but the led light on the outside was turning on and off a slow strobe, and the #3 jets wont turn on. Also the waterfall and interior lights are not working. It still holds at 104 degrees and jets #1 and #2 work fine. Any advice?
Hey - not sure where you got it from, but it will still be under warranty, so my first answer is to always go back to your dealer and have them sort it out. But it sounds like it could be an electronics issue if multiple pieces of equipment aren't working properly.
At least you’re honest. Many dealerships don’t tell you the hidden cost of a crane, a concrete pad, and electrical cost. You’re left facing 5K plus on top of the pool purchase
Yeah, it just goes to show - you have to really want one and know you’ll use it. An inground pool is at least $100k and you get 80% less use out of it
Which color is the interior?
This particular one is called Almond
@@urbanlifepoolshottubs8622 Looks gray in the video, nice videos by the way
Does Bullfrog still manufacture the R series? How long do the jetpacks last before the manifold blows water out the air vents?
No, the R series is discontinued. Bullfrog has an amazing new A Series, so the base level A Series is most similar to the R Series - except all the JetPaks are acrylic now! We haven’t seen many JetPak failures and haven’t really seen a pattern of how long it takes. Some fail right away and others fail after many years. The newly designed ones seem to be pretty good so far
Does the x7 your showing reflect the premium jet package or the standard? I cant tell. Thanks!
Whats the difference between premium jet vs standard? Online its says 45 jets vs 37 jets. What jets are removed on the standard line?
Can you tell me if I can place this tub directly on crushed packed stone? Also is there access under the tub to pull my electric conduit through or just the sides. I am building an 8x8 wood framed box with packed crushed stone and I want to hide my electrical conduit under the tub. From the videos I've seen on you tube it only shows access in three areas on the sides.
The “JAM” was definitely diluted, 10% Jam 90% Water, still a ridiculous idea tho, 👊🏾🇳🇬🇺🇸
Nope, not diluted. I warmed it up a bit to make it more viscous so it would pour out better and not just sit at the bottom of the tub. This isn’t a carnival trick
Can you tell me how many lights are in the hot tub?
I just got a tub 136 jets plus seats 7 for 7300
Is it tri or now di for BF?
Question about the upright lounger. My partner is 5,1” and she often finds the keys for feet and legs don’t line up wheee they should. Is your wife able to sit in the upright lunged and have the keys on her back, legs, and feet all be effective? Do her feet reach the foot jets?
Absolutely. The jets hit all the right spots for her. Best thing you can do is find a local showroom for Hydropool and have her sit in it. You’ll know right away whether it will work or not.
When do these go on sale? Every dealer wants to sell me the cheaper ones. Literally called 3 dealers and all 3 are trying to talk me out of it. Prices me at MSRP. No one pays MSRP for a hot tub.
I can’t speak for other dealers but it sounds like they have old stock to clear out and are trying to push that. But I can’t say for sure. To be totally honest, I actually prefer the new A Series A8L over this one anyway
That was the most liquidy jam I've ever seen. Up the pectin!
Maybe marmalade next time?
They do not all come with the exterior lighting, additional lighting throughout the inside and the waterfalls. That is an optional upgrade which cost extra money.
Yes, that is true. It used to be standard and then they made it optional this year. Normally we order them with the fountains and extra lighting anyway.
What the price about on a A5L?
Garbage hot tubs
Thanks for the input, random stranger. I’ve had mine almost 4 years and it’s been flawless, even in -40 C
Just bought one. The Jets don’t seem to be very powerful after touching the jet button once. It’s not until you open the air valve that increases massage strength. Is this correct in achieving stronger jet?
It is a one pump hot tub, so it won't have all the therapy value of a two massage pump tub, but it should still be decent. There is a two-speed pump in that unit - low speed is for circulating and heating - hitting the jet button again will put it into high speed for a stronger massage. And yes, if you want a stronger massage from there, open up the air controls to add air to the massage. Just make sure to keep that feature off when you're not using it to save your pillows and your cover
🚌🚌🚌🚌
What about septic and drain fields ? Can this be over a drain field ?
It's not recommended, no. I'm not a construction expert, but from what I've read, it's too risky.
We just ordered our new A6. Couldn't be more excited. Thank you for the video!
You’ll love it! The new A Series is impressive
I Laughed when I seen this, and wasnt to pleased when the front part of frame came off?
It was for dramatic effect haha. The panel was not attached
I got drunk n barfed in my buddy's hot tub ..no more tubbin for me he says. 😆
Yeah fair enough. He probably spent the whole next day cleaning it out
How do I repair a large 4 in a crack in my shell that appeared after 3 years
In many cases, you don’t. Often this happens because of freeze damage, but I don’t know your specific situation. You can try an acrylic repair place or bathtub repair place and they may be able to fix it.
Hello - DON"Y BUY DREAMMAKER SPAS !!! Dreammaker Spas website says: "All DreamMaker Spas come with a 1-year full warranty including parts and labor, plus a 5-year warranty on spa shell and structure." When we purchased our hot tub (through Leslie's Pool Co.) they did not stand behind the product they sold to us -- Leslie's (later) told us they no longer carry Dreammaker Spas products due to the many problems they and their customers have had with Dreammaker Spas. Dreammaker Spas ignored our calls and emails to request authorization for repair of the defective hot tub - which was not even close to a year old at the time. After 5 weeks with no response from Dreammaker we were forced to pay for the repair ourselves. They finally responded (after several more emails went unanswered) when we sent them the billing invoice. They responded by telling us they would not pay the bill because we needed to contact them first. We even found an authorized repair place who is authorized to do repairs on their hot tubs and the technician even tried to reach Dreammaker on our behalf- they still did not respond. Besides the fact that they do not honor the warranties they say they provide, the product itself needed a replacement pump - and it had barely been used. People need to be aware that Dreammaker Spas do not honor their warranties and based on us needing a replacement pump so soon after purchase, this certainly indicates inferior products being marketed to consumers. I urge you to protect yourself from unscrupulous companies such as Dreammaker Spas.
Appreciate the feedback. We haven’t had this experience with our customers, but if we do see recurring issues, we will not carry them anymore either. We only carry quality products
Incredibly helpful. Thank you!
thank you for the info. I am considering the A series
The A Series is awesome, and about to get better. Soon Bullfrog will be phasing out the R Series and carrying three levels of A Series. Can’t share yet, but they are truly impressive!
@@urbanlifepoolshottubs8622 Ooooooooh my! I'll be lurking in the shadows, waiting....
Is this a full foam insulation system energy and thermal efficiency are really important for me
No, actually. Hydropool uses a triple thermal wrap that goes around the base, cabinet, tub shell and equipment. It acts as a reflective barrier to trap heat in the tub. It makes it far easier to repair and maintain, it doesn't degrade over time or get eaten by rodents and it'waterproof. Plus, it gives you similar operating cost to sprayfoam
Love the video, thank you! We just purchased this model and are looking forward to having it in and ready to use in the Spring!
Congrats! I’m sure you’ll love it
Recently purchased the R6 with the Lounger seat. Have owned a hot tub since 1987 with my first being a 3 seater Polynesian Spa. This will be my third and hopefully last spa.
I am thinking of purchasing one for my husband birthday, and I was wondering if you could tell me how you like it ? Any issues? Is as amazing as they said ? And thanks so much, happy new year
@@bigcatloverelys6405 so far it has been great. My only issue has been that the chlorine cartridge that it uses was to last 4 weeks, so they told me. Mine has been lasting 3 weeks at most, depending on use also.
Hi, great video 👍😊 can I ask if you are just running the swim jets when you rate the speed? Or are you turning on the buoyancy jet, pump 1, too? Thanks Alison
Hi Alison, the buoyancy jets don't really change the speed of the swim jets. It's usually personal preference on whether people like using the buoyancy jet or not
I love the simplicity of the design. I can’t find any videos, reviews or pricing, any information would be helpful.
Thanks for making this video. What are the speed levels(1-10) equivalent to per 100yd or 100m roughly?
Great question Sean. According to Hydropool, it equates to roughly a km/hr swim. So a 1 = 1 km/h 10 = 10km/h. Actual usage may be a bit less. I would equate it to 10 = 9 km/hr swim
Just bought this very tub, in a different color, but exact model. I gotta say that this is THE best thing going. Powerful jets and easy as heck to use. Been soaking for about two weeks now and no issues other than a hand jet that isn't blowing very hard. Keeps adjusting itself to a trickle. Is there an adjustment tool for these since they are so small? Kinda hard to get our fingers into them for adjustment.
How do you like it,, just got the r5L. What didnyou pay?
How are you feeling about it a year later? We are looking into them for ourselves.
@@JessieKlein Still love it. Having multiple jet packs makes it easy to get what you need. Maintenance isn't bad. Chemicals/filters cand get pricey, but worth the investment.
Could you give a quick demo on draining the water to change it? We have the exact tub but have never changed the water yet. Have had it fir 6 months so figure its about time to do it.
is this for real, maintenance free
Any in stock ?
How much please
How much for this model?
Depends where you live! But in Canada it starts around $20,000
Hi there. Any chance you have a video with the black Opal shell with water in it? Debating on which colour to go with.
How much
