Chinese car parts are like sculptured artwork. They look exactly like the original parts but when you use them they crumble to pieces !!!

Ive heard that some restorers are turning to 3d printing for bushings.

Growing up my had a few used 50's cars Ford and Chevy had to lift the shifter up to make it start.

1) Didnt 55s start in neutral only? 2) That is NOT a 2 speed transmission. Its a 3 speed that starts in second gear when selector is in D. Hitting the throttle makes it go into first, then it will shift 1-2-3 automatically. Selecting L will stay in 1st. The reasoning behind this was if you needed to rock a stuck car, shifting from reverse to drive, you wouldnt spin as much. 🤔 55 Vic 2 dr ht.

I was 13 when these came out. The most beautiful car ever built. The US led the world in auto making. Now the US doesn't lead the world in anything other than crime. The auto industry is the same the world over; they make junk and soak the balls of you, and the stupid public buy's them.

i had a '77. I was also an antique dealer, mainly furniture, , the hearse was great for that, when advertising a hearse, say... "attention antique dealers!" lol This car really is a keeper. I just need a 10 car garage, lol.
