Nice sounding motors the old chyslers... what a beaut mate. Dad had the Ranger in the early 90s late 80s. White, 3 on the tree, 318, louvers, nice bench seats. Funny that. Cant remember a few days ago, but i remember that lol. Nice car.

Yes that turns into Behms Rd
Instead of turning left you can keep going straight ahead along Tmba rd and you get to a security gate with a sign that reads "no cameras". I went here the other day to test it out but couldn't see much. I guess anywhere along behms or the end of Tmba rd would be good enough?

Thanks for the upload. 😎 Can't wait for this at Avalon in ..... 7 days 👍 Such a pity it was cancelled 2 years running. They didn't have the super hornets fly in 2019. Just a static display. Looking forward to getting up close and personal with these planes.
When I move to Australia in a year. I'll definitely have to come check out that base.

Barney Warwick this is not a 318 anymore. It’s an R3 block now. 422”. But the factory 318 that was in was stroked to 389” and ran 10.90 on pump fuel with flat tappet. Full steel car. Was many years ago. Was fast in the day.

Bret Feeney X block, it’s just a 318 with a stronger casting. Once you get in to R3 blocks then you need 48 degree heads and all of that expensive stuff to go along.

It's not a dart. Same style body but an Australian version called a VF valiant coupe. It's best et so far is 9.18. @148mph. This pass the converter let go. So slipped the whole way down.
Owned several back in the day, but it used the Dart floorpan and many other parts re-manufactured in Australia. If you watch the movie 'Duel' you can easily see the similarities.

Actually i do know about drags, the problem being the vid is that fucking pixelated its pretty hard to tell what the blue car was,if it was a drag car so be it,the Val is a beauty no denying, should be more of them out there.
Dude if you know anything about drag racing, these cars are in two totally different catagories! The valiant is more of a street car as it it road registered the other is a true drag car.. Of coarse the val will get beaten!

@twinturboQLD it split a bore back in march shootout.went out first pass on 14 pound and busted tyres got of it back on it and it went 5.0 @154 mph to half track then split the bore.probably have it going towards christmass,the new car has taken up most of time and money.

@001whitelighter it,s a vy or vz holden ute.full race car all i know is its the fastest or one of the fastest ls1,s in the country and motor was done by c&v performance.has gone in the 6,s from memory.very quick ute.
