DJ and producer, DARIIOFOX, hailing from Quinta do Mocho in Lisbon, is
known for his infectious beats and electrifying performances that keep
the crowd on their feet all night long. DARIIOFOX has quickly made a
name for himself in the Batida and Tarraxo music scene. Drawing
inspiration from a wide range of genres and from his brother DJ Nervoso,
the originator.
This EP titled ‘Di Ghetto’ pays homage to the scene’s materia prima, the
original ‘DJs Di Guetto’ Vol.1 which was released back in 2007.
With maximum respect for Nervoso's inspiring (and fiery) path,
DARIIOFOX’s 6-track project perfectly captures the new forms &
mutations that the ‘Ghetto’ sound has evolved to be. A sound that not
only resonates with the new generation but one that feels nostalgic to
the old heads.
Raw, uncompromising & respectful are ways to describe this project
as DARIIOFOX seeks to showcase the diversity of his productions via 2
solo tracks & 4 collaborations with Ninja, Dadifox, Nervoso & DJ Romão.
