Great nice shout outs!!
Thank you so much Rambler. Great to have you stop by.
Ed I bet that fiat was a very cool car❤😊
Lotsa fun. Thank you for the great Card.
CARtoons was the best...great video and a great way to look at each new project. I love pushing the envelope on each build. Something no one else has done
Thank you. And yes you are very successful with your builds. I love especially your Edsel builds. I like that year Ford styling that you choose. 👍👍👍
@@smithgroove945 wow,thank you. That means A LOT💗
I'm glad the print out made it...have fun with them bud.👍
Thanks again!
Cool card, great guy. Nice guns. Have a great day 😀
Thank you Charlie. Good to see you here. 👍
Wow, Ed. Very cool
Interesting story. Funny stuff. Your build is amazing. Really cool
Thank you John.
Wow! Impressive
Thank you John. Appreciate it.
Looks good. Shame about the decal. I remember this kit to be a complete bear of a build when i did it few years ago. Yours looks good!!
Thank you. Much appreciated. 👍✌️
You can do it! 😉😎👍
Thanks
Nice looking bike Ed! Love the colors! 😎👍
Thanks for stopping by.
Cool Ed! Im caught up! 😉 😎👍
True story about painting the shark to fool their boss Ed! I read that in the history of Corvettes. Your Make is a real treat for me Ed, it's awesome! 😎👍
Thank you Mike.
Great job on the decals Ed! I really appreciate you taking the time to show us how you go about handling them. 😎👍
Beautiful plane in the beginning Ed. What did you do in the Air Force? I'm just interested because my nephew is in now driving caravans. I'm looking forward to seeing that Freightliner! 😎👍
I was a Ground Radar technician.
Your 50' Ford is looking real great Ed! I loved that view on camera it looks so mean like a wide bodied pro touring car/truck! Nice knives! The LRW is s tough fight! 😎👍
Your LRW looks great Ed! Bummer about the decal. I seem to have a lot of problems with parts that open and close! On my LRW I ended up having to use a straight pin on a door. Also, i noticed I've missed a lot of your video so I'm going to catch up! 😎👍
Thanks Mike. No prob about the Vids. Am honored to have you as a subscriber. Ed
Great advice Ed! I really like the books you had on display in the video! Thanks for sharing 😎👍
Thanks
Great advice 125! 👍💯👍
Thanks Kev.
@@smithgroove945 Your Welcome Ed 👍😎👍
You're having fun - that's the most important part. I like the way you try different and new things. You take chances. Many builders - me included - we kinda get in a rut where we've been building the same way for decades and we don't really take chances anymore. We're to busy trying to make a model too perfect. Some of the builds you've done are unique to you - and that's the whole point. 👍
Thank you.
i can visualize the model in plastic but here's my problem what color do i paint it??...thx 4 sharing.. vinny
Hello Vinny. Well my thoughts are the lighter greens and browns, tans and grays are the military colors. Old model tees used that kind of color. The darker blues and blacks are very hard to paint in glossy. What is your favorite color? Yellows are nice for hot rods. Maybe paint a white cardboard and hold it up against the model. Hope this helps. .
@@smithgroove945 my favorite color is purple ..then blue
👍
Happy Tuesday buddy.
Very cool Ed ❤😊
Thanks Shawn. 👍✌️
I love it! 🤣
Jackstand completed. Chain is 1/8 inch out of specs. My phone was charging so couldn't video.
I have the street shark.have everything but the engine.
Looks Good!!! Loved the history about the paint job. I remember this kit from my youth. Friend built it in gold. Thanks for sharing
Thanks Mike. 👍
You have a beautiful piece there Sir! A very well put together model. I am hoping to get one myself! I see one of the Guys gave some very good info on the history of the cars Mako and Manta, HMMMM sounds like a future project there! Than k You for sharing with Us. Looking forward to the next video. Take Care, Be Safe, God Bless, Later
Thank you for stopping by Russell. Subed you. 👍
Those were cool cars. Very different, but still recognizable as a Corvette.
Thanks
Very cool.
Thanks
Very cool maco shark Ed ❤😊
Thanks friend. 👍
Thread is perfect for the wiring...I've used it in the past. Very nice vintage model. GREAT VIDEO
Thanks for stopping by. Yep, I could never master the thread.
The first Mako , I believe, was a '65 convertible, This is the second Mako a '67. For me this is THE most beautiful 'Vette ever produced. The Manta Ray is a '69 and is not a Mako it's a Manta Ray. I've got 4 '67 Mako kits and they all have minor issues. Nice job saving this one.
Thanks for stopping by.
No worries.
Looks sharp Ed 👍💯👍👍👀👍
Thanks and good morning.
@@smithgroove945 👍☕️👍
Always loved the styling of this thing! Great find!
Thanks
I like that 👍
Thanks for stopping by Bruce👍 I enjoy your channel.
Them kits are a little finicky nice save and repair. All of them I've ever done the hood dose not set correct.
Good morning Phil. Interesting info about the hoods fit.
In 1994 when Lindbergh picked up the molds from Union model company out of Japan, The instruction sheet was never clear, This was the 1966 IMC instruction sheet there was a clause with a little photo that showed building the Little Red Wagon there's no Center windshield post, And no vent windows, They must be removed, The Real Wagon that Bill Maverick Golden drove never had any glass, Also the kit being from 1994, It would be good to shoot a light coat of clear enamel overtop the decal sheet and one wet coat and let it dry out, This would have saved the decals, I know these trucks inside now, I was part of the crew from 1988 to 2002 his retirement, The truck doesn't run any bumpers either, The rear tail lights should be painted silver or Chrome, Most people should Google photos of the actual truck and see that it doesn't have any glass in it, Unless you build a stock version, The truck never had a factory gas cap, And factory brake pedal, And stock gas pedal these are left out on the Original 66 IMC version all the way up to the one they just re-released couple years ago, I built several Little Red Wagons 1 - 4 Each one was different, The last two had Center Steering in a Center Seat and a completely different roll bar, So if the truck crashed again he's protected in the middle of the truck, Thank You for reading this, Best thing when building this model is to Google it, Look for actual photos of the truck, Right now I'm trying to get a friend of mine to do the different design decals, That the truck displayed through different years.
Thanks for stopping by to my channel. I appreciate your input. I did Google the truck and did find several iterations of the vehicle. I know that Hemi Under glass did have a see through hole in the bottom for easier driving. It occurred to me and I wonder if The Little Red Wagon ever had such a design for it.
Looks like you got this.
Yep, now I figure just about 1/8 inch adjustment.
Wow magnifying glass for decals....that's way to small for me. Great ideas for old decals. Nice video❤
Thank you friend. Good to see you.
@@smithgroove945 glad to be back.
Awesome stuff! 👏 LLAP 🖖
Thank you Bruce. Glad that you had stopped by.
Nice work on the decals.
Thanks
Nice work Ed have a great week.
Thanks Phil. You have a great week as well. Check in on that other guy.
Hispano Siza also made. cars. There's a couple of kits around for those. In a different scale from your airplane of course. LOL My eyesight isn't that great anymore so I could never build that tiny plane - but you did a good job at it 👍
Thank for stopping by. I did not know that tid bit of info. Seems well designed. 👍
Nice tip on the decals. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you
That’s some intricate detailed work! 👍 Nice Job and tips!
Thanks Kev, lost my eyesight, lost hearing in one ear, bad knee but we ride on.😂
@@smithgroove945 Absolutely! 👍
Great tip on the decals Ed ❤😊
Hey Shawn👍Thanks for stopping by.
