Still works, make sure you got at lease a dash, or a net just to be safe, they will dash at you preemptively. Within those level ranges and eventually. But for sure at level 14 you'll see a bunch they spawn like hot cakes

First, head to the camp near the Burial Cave where you'll find a book. Afterward, return to I'ocrey at the Rotten Willow and speak with him. You’ll need to gather the following ingredients for the recipe: "Chunk of Amber, Crawler Eye, and Mindwort." You can purchase the Chunk of Amber from Letar, the artificer in Brynn Quarters, and the Crawler Eye from Renod Kaan, the alchemist in Brynn Docks. Once you’ve collected all the ingredients, return to I'ocrey to exchange them for a potion.

That clip was actually from my very first playthrough. To keep things consistent with what I’m posting, I included that portion of the video in the guide. By the time I made the guide, I was already on my third dual-wielding run. I tested different setups - my second run focused on sword and dagger with Strength and Perception, while my third run was purely daggers with the same stat focus. After those tests, I concluded that investing in Strength and Perception is more effective.

That's definitely a good point, nets really help with those birds!

Having a dash and a net or two would help with this trick.

I haven't encountered such in my many playthroughs. The only thing that happened for me was when it spawned very close to Mannshire, and that only occurred once! It might be bugged for you, but there’s usually one. Have you uncovered the entire map? (At least the southern region) The screaming harpies make that tile most distinguishable.

​@@OneStabbyCat After double checking my entire map and exploring all visible structures on it, still i have yet to find the prison, it seems like my file got bugged during generating the world and now i dont have the structure, rough tbh but it aint much of a problem

Sorry to hear that. Anyway, you’re not really missing out, the only notable loot there is the Pegan Amulet, which can also be found as a drop or in dungeon chests. Although there's that book for the free stat point you get from solving the Boulder Circle’s riddle.

I had three playthroughs so far with lv 30. My first and second runs both used a dagger and sword combo, while my third playthrough focused on daggers only, prioritizing critical hits. For me personally, I'd recommend dagger and sword over pure daggers because of the Onslaught skill since youll be able to charge ranged enemies from a distance.

Yes, I always do, but its up to the build if it has filler ability points later in the level, When it comes to roleplay, I personally love hunting and skinning animals "in-game", so I usually pick Skinning as a skill. However, if I’ve already planned out a build and there’s no room left for additional skills, I’ll skip it.

The effectiveness of a build often depends on your playstyle and confidence of the player. With the Electro hybrid builds you can tackle most dungeon with ease at early levels, it's definitely achievable! Personally, by the time I reach level 20 with any build I've worked on, I usually feel confident enough to tackle T5 content.

It's definitely possible, though it comes with its challenges. Essentially, it's like playing as a mage. That said, an Electro crossbow build should be absolutely busted, like a one-shot sniper!

The game feels really dark, especially in the dungeons and when at night, where the dim lighting makes candlelight and lanterns stand out. It enhances the atmosphere perfectly, at the moment there's no in game setting to adjust it, though there is a mod to increase brightness.

Edited it few hours ago, I recommended Dirwin earlier since his early access to Dagger skills provides much-needed burst damage at lower levels, which is more important than dual wielding or passives at that stage. While you can play any character, Dirwin is the best choice for a dagger-focused build early on. Personally, I chose Velmir for roleplay reasons, imagining him in his career Manhunter/spear user who frequently breaks his spears, ends up using the spearheads as daggers, and eventually starts collecting them as an alternative weapon, and Velmir’s passive synergies with my build cuz of acc bonus, and lastly he is beginner friendly.

True, but with rending damage and other damage type put in the mix, there's a high chance the pelts will be ruined, making it unreliable. But with this guide, the damage is dealt through piercing, ensuring a 99.99% chance of preserving/harvesting the pelts.

@OneStabbyCat well that right but bison have crushing damage and after unlocking hunter master exter 25% and 25 % friendship with querkmaster another 25% changes to get pelt whatever type of damage animals killed if not bison spawn in group and 2 gulon easily can kill 4,5 with ease and if not gulon pelt is almost always drop if bison killes it 😊 ( my english not good so understand thank)

Absolutely, that’s great! It’s awesome that players have multiple ways to approach it. Maximizing the 99% drop chance and the one increasing opportunities to skin them, both are definitely a win. No worries, I understand perfectly!

Good point, thanks for catching that gonna edit that part! I forgot I played through the first few levels like a maniac.. It was like level 3 when I was able to get all the skills I want, the Dagger skills from Gerlot and the DW from the Scribe, I saved up all the point from levels 1-3. Talk about being unoptimized. It was brutal, I did that too. Good thing it was just the den had to buy 2 caltrops and my xbow helped a lot.

It's a feature, game's being nice in return, for being so hard on us.

The Shards by Pawel Perepelica, Its probably used in the very first redition of Stoneshard, its one of their tracks it quite good, I've been listening it non-stop while playing SS on mute.

I originally planned to create a playthrough of this build, but unfortunately, some parts of the footage were corrupted. I was really looking forward to sharing my experience with others I was even so excited to post it on Dec 16. Regarding the commentary, someone once commented that my voice sounded AI-generated it really made me self-conscious about speaking on my video, so I just started to expressing my thoughts primarily through my thumbnail designs instead. Oh on another note, in your writeup I noticed you went Per/Str/Vit for the 15 breakpoints, but in these videos It seems like you wanted Agi before Str (looking at the troll and manticore fights) - just wondering what your thoughts are now on str vs agi for levels 6-10 I'm a brand new player dying on cooldown but learning lots and having a blast, but I've figured out how to get a strong start with t2 weapons (guard crossbow and sometimes a bollock dagger if I'm lucky) by robbing osbrook blind and walking to mannshire before I dp the bandit's den (in Arna's case I needed daggers, athletics, and dw training/books)

All good now, thanks! I actually had three saves where I tested different stat distributions while working on the PDF. I found that putting no points into Agility worked best. To keep things consistent, I’ve been posting videos from my first playthrough. In your case, if you're sticking with pure daggers, I recommend upgrading beyond the Bollocks Daggers as soon as possible. Maybe try to complete all three Osbrook quests, save up those crowns, and make sure to rescue the Oaken Barrel. After that, buy their goods, head to Brynn, and sell the barrels to Rico at the Mint Square Inn. Use the profits to invest in better daggers. This way, you'll secure a stronger start with a more effective weapon, Armuz sells a good dagger I think it was called a Jambiya and you might be able to buy the Duelist dagger.

They don’t have quests, you gotta go out and find them

Tier 5 dungeons aren’t tied to quests, reputation and level and are usually in remote areas, far from roads. Check 5-6 tiles or more from settlements like Rotten Willow, Denbrier, Mannshire, or Brynn. A consistent spot is west of Mannshire, exit west and keep heading left (Please Save first!) until a question mark appears on your map check it if its a Dungeon with no road, if keep going left and check for icons in the map.

The caravan feature is still new and since the update is only 16 days old, it might get patched or changed. I’ll consider making a guide next year once it’s more finalized. I’ll include one in my next gameplay the thing is I passively record and edit out only epic moments, which is why I don’t show my character sheet, but rest assured I will edit one in every gameplay. 🎉

Need a bladed weapon and butcher skill for the meat. Resourcefulness allows for pelts when butchering.
