All I did was take the notorious “oof” sound, download it, open iMovie, and slow it down to 1/8 speed. Then I took that clip and slowed it down to 1/8 speed. Then I came here and uploaded this. Enjoy this… masterpiece, if you can even call it that.

So Bill (NEO Trains and Sirens) and I were at the Erie Street Crossing in Willoughby, as usual, when we heard a train horn not too far down the line. We waited roughly 3-5 minutes when 3400 finally appeared doing maybe 5 MPH at most likely Notch 1. So, I was on my way to my stepdad's house yesterday, and as we were coming up to the CSX line, the crossing arms started going down. I hopped out of my mom's car and started recording. So, I met up with Bill today in Hudson at about 11:30 to record this black 3T22 on top the Village Hall. This 3T22 goes off every Saturday for about 10 seconds at noon. This is at the Road Dept. building off of Pelton, just north of the CSX tracks.
@@ericwood7758oh nice, didn’t know that one was active yet, noticed it was up a few months ago when I was out to take pictures of the new sirens but they hadn’t had the power on yet.
@@sirenfreak57 I didn't know either. I was taking a gamble with this one. Wish I had gotten one of the Whelens before they took them out.
@@ericwood7758someone had a video of the one atop the courthouse that I wish was still up, since that one’s long inactive too. I would try to get out that way more often for the quarterly tests, but being down near Akron and life getting in the way it hasn’t worked out.

Thank you! This was more or less on a whim, as I had completely forgotten about the test that day. So I quick sped over to the closest siren to where I was at and set up with 5 minutes to spare.
Why not film an SRN since they’ll be gone very soon? These will be around for many years
I wasn't sure if the SRNs had already been deactivated or not. Didn't wanna take my chances.
Are the batteries going down or weak?
Honestly, I couldn't tell you. I do know it's been "sick" for quite some time now, so it may be something electrical.

@@tsg931 You’re right, it is a funny name. I don’t do much siren hunting anymore. Been busy with work and college, having just enough free time to watch trains once a week. It’s been so long since I recorded this that I had to go back to my notes to find the location. Lol.

What if I told you that over 2 million other people may have other opinions? Honestly, I'm getting bored of ROBLOX, and I'm looking into some games on Steam, microphones, and recording softwares. By the way, ROBLOX is more of a game community. Of course it's not a game by itself.
