A space for my tunes, this channel was made to be able to document the tunes and riffs I make, jam sessions I have, as well as some covers. So far it is pretty much just like a blog of my guitar learning journey and a way I can share my tunes to family and friends, but I might broaden it to more music production or making songs on other instruments in the future. I often use the description section of my videos to explain backstory, hindsight, and technical information of the tune as well as link to other related videos for the tune, such as tutorial videos, variations, or back to the original recording from those branches.
Tune no. 104 | September 27, 2024
Phone ran out of storage at the end, but it got the main parts of the tune captured so it's alright.

Zelda OoT Title Theme Chords | September 23, 2024

I was messing around and accidentally made these chords from the Zelda Ocarina of Time title screen theme. Very beautiful chords Chords 133230 x3220x Tip: Keep pointer finger on second fret of G string as a pivot between chords; it doesn't need to be picked up when transitioning between the chords.

Fun tune, but I'm still trying to work out the second part after the first riff. It's cool tho

I cleaned up the B part of the tune and it works much better now. A lot smoother to play. This is one of my go-to songs on ukulele now; very fun. Best take from 2:18 to end. Here's take 1 video for how it sounded initially: th-cam.com/video/ng6Un-oq6z0/w-d-xo.html

This is a really fun one to play. Has a cool call/response part, and the walkdown has a cool plucking pattern as it's going down, which I explain in the video. I play this one a lot on ukulele :)

This a much better recording than the first take which was in a closet lol. The lighting and acoustics of this recording spot are much better than the closet was. First take: th-cam.com/video/naKMT73STF0/w-d-xo.html

My number of tunes has reached triple digits! That's crazy. Been a bit over a year since I started recording, and I'm really happy with the progress I was able to document so far and the beautiful tunes I've made. This tune is one I'm really proud of making on ukulele. It's very fun to play when you get in the rhythm of it, and the pull-offs coming out of the loop back to the start is such a gr...

Similar progression to the last video of tune 98, but I do a more jazzy three finger pluck while keeping my thumb rooted silently on the 4th string. There are also some differences in the chords and the pinky notes I add.

Pretty rough first take but I have improved it since then and now it's a really fun and smooth tune to play. Take 2: th-cam.com/video/p0yheU5WFXE/w-d-xo.html My mom got me this ukulele after I helped her with writing her resume. It's pretty nice. I made a lot of cool tunes on it in quick succession, as you can witness from the following series of videos. There are some pretty solid tunes in thi...

Wow! I completely forgot about this one after recording it and going to bed. It's been almost two months since I recorded this, but it's so beautiful and I'm so glad I captured it because there's no way I could do this again, at least like I did here. The picking pattern at the start is so cool and reminds me of Adrianne Lenker. I really need to get around to learning her songs. Anyway, here's ...

I still love the way I played it in the second take the most, but this video does a decent job of breaking down the elements. I don't really ever play the chord like 020030 as I show in this tutorial; I always play it like I did in the second take - 020130 - and I think it sounds better that way. Une jolie mélodie pour un beau thème ! Bravo ❤️
Joli jeu ! Bravo 👍
Mèrci beaucoup, mon ami! Tu joue très belle musique aussi. Je voudrais apprendre guitare classique à l’avenir. Très bonne musique
keep goin man, it sounds nice ♥
Thank you! I really appreciate the encouragement. Check out the tab in the description if you want to learn this simple tune. It also includes some variations which I do when I play it now.
Nice, dude. Subscribed...
Thank you so much, I don't play guitar that much anymore and I've been looking for the tabs of this song for years !!! 🥺❤️
You’re welcome! Glad I could help :) I will try to post written tabs as well when I get the chance.
Well played!
Check video description (three menu dots) for more info on this. Again, big shoutout to @mattcan9552 and @nicholasnorrie1637 for their covers & tabs for this as they've helped me out a lot with figuring this out. I highly recommend checking out their covers of this track if you like how it sounds :)
Dont give up dude. Guitar is a fucking journey,
Noice 👌
You seem to have a pretty good feeling for "notes in between". Do me a favor please, buy some thimbles, and try playing with them. I think with a lot practice it should even be possible to play the guitar like usual, but without ever pressing strings down. It would be the same as what you're doing right now, but instead of touching all strings together at the same neck position / fret with a TV remote, you could address each string individually at different neck positions, and you could play chords including everything in between the standard 12 edo chords. With even more practice and either with specially designed thimbles, or with a scalloped guitar neck, you might even be able to do string bends!
yeah I was thinking about that too. I think thimbles would be too course and cause a lot of static, but if I could find glass ones that might work. definitely interested in trying it out!
@@KPTunespace I found a video here on yt called "Thimble Guitar Solo". The player is using a metal thimble on an electric guitar, so static doesn't seem to be an issue. He only uses one thimble, and not for notes in between, so it would be something new.
Thanks for the interesting lesson. I enjoyed it. Cool trick at 3:40 when you rotate your wrist to play around with the harmonics.
🎉👍
keep it up
Sounds cool dud
Thanks for sharing this video! Have fun on the journey becoming a better guitarist as time passes. God bless and much love! ❤
This reminds me of me noodling around with ideas. I have a lot more fun making original music, then playing a cover. I love how you just put it out there with the mess ups. But that is a cool tune
Bro can u do no enemies tutorial
you mean the Nujabes sample? I've never tried learning it and don't know how well it will work on my janky guitar, but I'll let you know if I figure it out. This channel is mostly just a place for me to store guitar tunes I write, and a few covers.
@@KPTunespace ohk bro keep trying best wishes for your journery
