Tracey Ullman on Meryl Streep's accents, movie 'Plenty' & more (1985)
Tracey Ullman revels in playful antics in the backyard of her Hollywood Hills home in clips from an interview with the release of the 1985 movie "Plenty," in which Ullman stars alongside Meryl Streep.
Ullman comically shares a childhood story about pretending to sing in French while performing "The Tracey Ullman Show" for her mother at the age of two.
The video features brief film clips from “Plenty” showcasing a scene from the movie with Ullman and Streep. Ullman then humorously mimics Streep, commenting on her co-star’s impressive ability to switch between British and American accents-a talent Ullman jokingly admits she envies.
The video concludes with Ullman in her backyard, singing and bidding farewell with her signature line, “go home.” This unique retrospective offers a charming glimpse into the life of one of comedy’s great stars. 🅲🅲 www.youtube.com/@UCddytTXt7XHy0_I__Kwnv7w

She was soooo beautiful!!!! I’m 42 and when Dallas was on air, I was a little girl watching with my grandmother. I of course had no idea what I was watching but I knew their names, Lucy, Bobby, Pam, Jock of course J.R. Fast forward to today, I decided to start from the beginning and watch the show as an adult and OMG!! I can see why my grandmother was so obsessed!!! It is so juicy! So messy! So SCANDALOUS! Such a good watch! And even though it’s an old show, it feels so new to me. I’m on season 2 and just finished the episode where Lucy’s husband to be told her he was gay and couldn’t marry her. She was so heart broken. But I’m loving this show and Pam and Lucy are my favorite characters…..so far
