Love those shots of mid ‘80s L.A. Im from Los Angeles and remember this show well!

The whole arrangement is beyond perfection..The lyrics, the musicality all testify to a magical time when songwriters were inspirational. I recall when this was released in the UK in 1980 and i also remember i had just moved house and was decorating but i downed all tools when this arrived on the radio.I could not believe what i was hearing. The sun beamed through my window and it was magical. Has the same effect on me today.

It looks like the same band and same concert that Albert Collins sang "If Trouble Were Money". What a night that must have been.

This band killed it live.

I used to love this at the time and only found it again a few years ago, literally 35 years later… still sounds so good. I remember having the hots for the mysterious girl in the video. Reminded me of the lead singer of the Bangles but also Lisa Bonet… who were both beautiful… is it just me but doesn’t Robbie look like a younger Alice Cooper at times in this video 😂
