I recently bought a “Logitech M189” wireless mouse to replace my old one as the “scroll wheel” stopped working. Everything on it worked okay, except for when I tried to type text, even in the “Search box” it wouldn’t show. Has this happened to anyone, if so, how did you fix it?

Great mouse but the buttons behind the mouse wheel speed up and slow down the cursor. I cant figure out how to turn them off. I cant play LOL with this mouse b/c it will randomly speed up or slow down in the middle of team fights. Overall the buttons behind the mouse wheel are located a tad low. Any game that requires you to right click a lot, this is a bad mouse for that.
