The Physics Department of CIT presents short videos showing Engineering Physics laboratory experiment demonstration, as well as instructions about how to do the experiment.
We are happy to introduce the following Laboratory experiment videos of the 1st Semester B.E./ B.Tech programmes.
1. Air wedge - Determination of thickness of a thin wire
2. Torsional pendulum - Determination of Rigidity modulus of a wire
3. Determination of band gap energy of semiconductor
4. Magnetic field along the axis of a current carrying circular coil
5. Calibration of ammeter and voltmeter using potentiometer
6. Figure of merit of a galvanometer
7. Determination of wavelength of light using spectrometer and diffraction grating
This will be one of those experiences which the students will remember when they look back. We encourage you to provide feedback about the video presentations.

Any jntua students 😂
❤
13:34 please explain me, how we calculate vernier scale coincidence, 56 which msr is 132 or in vernier A we have 312 degree msr Or vsc 5 , please explain?
Almighty Professor Balraju, you are a God!
Thanks thala 🥳
Thanks sir
Well explanation 🙏
super sir but i have a one doubt.if we identify the value of msr and vsc how to find out the total reading in vernier 1 and 2
MSR + (VSC x LC)
Superb explanation
very nice animation and explanation.
me at 1:43 AM now having😶 lab at 8:30AM
Awesome sir we understand nicely
thank u sir but while noting vsc, we sometimes see more than just one line which perfectly coincides with each other.. how do i correctly find what's coinciding? like at 13:32 54, even 55, were perfectly coincided..?
Today is my practical Exam tankyou
much better than IIT Bombay faculty in explaing it to students, Thanks sir
🙏
Good and positive approach explanation
Why should we need to kee current ar 0.5 amp
Have my practical in 1 hour👻
Thank you so much sir, ur explanation is very nice ❤
Thanks sir
I have my Physics Lab Class in college, gosh this is hard until you give everything❤️
Hi sir thank you for the video buat i have question, where can i get the given formula for young modulus?I understand that it is from derivation of : young modulus= stress/strain But i have trouble with getting the formula for stress and strain based on the experiment. And i am very confused as there are other different formula…Could you show me how to get the formula or at least a citation for it..
Super sir 😊
Very clear explanation sir. Thank you.
9:48 such a clear animation, very helpful. Thank you.
Sir graph
sir eh🔥
Thankyou so much sir🙏it means alot
Nandrigal pala
Thank you sir
Thank you sir 🙏🙏
Slope= (y2-y1)/(x2-x1) ?
To be honest, this is one of the best video that explained the experiment in a way that , everone would understand. It's really great to come across you . Thank you so so much sir
Thankyou so much Sir! The concept is crystal clear because of how well you explained in the video🙏🙏
thank you very much sir , this is very useful for last minute preparations , hats off to CIT for producing such informative content . thank you balraju sir , this is on behalf of 10 students from another university
Any SASTRA students here😅
😅
😊❤
thank you
Mass thala
🧐
Thank you very much, Professor, for this benefit... I have a question, when zinc acetate is not available from the beginning, can we start with commercial zinc oxide?
Thank you so much sir 😀. I am a Bsc physics 1st year student 🤗
Instruments model & full description for purchasing
I am getting curved lines instead of straight lines. How to fix the problem?
Superb explanation I'm watching this before going to do practical (iit madras) Thank you sir 🙂
Least count of spectrometer is one minute
Spm wale reply me
What is the accurte wavelength of orange colour in mercury lamp
Super
Watching in pg 😢
